Vicks Steam Sinus Inhaler Model VIH200 with 4 Bonus VapoPads for Allergies and Colds

I had “glass throat” with Covid where I felt like I breathing and swallowing shards of glass. Maxing out on meds didn’t help but hot showers did so my hope was that this could help throughout the day. It’s a life saver! So effective and after a day my throat is almost back to normal.

This thing is a game changer, It is soooo much easier than boiling a pot of water and then having to sit with a towel over your head and breath the steam…..this Vicks inhaler is the same thing….but take about 3 minutes to set up and go! And you can put Vicks scent pads in it for congestion.

I have regular sinus congestion from chronic rhinosinusitis and year-round allergies and this steam inhaler helps a lot. Really moisturizes a scratchy throat and dry nose. Can easily use Vicks VapoPads or Equate brand pads in the unit (both lavender and eucalyptus/menthol are great).

this Vicks Steam Inhaler is a must have, it is doing exactly what the description indicates, no noise, quickly produces steam when put on high (need to put on low for less heat) easy to operate, comes with manual and easy to understand, helps my sinus, bronchitis, stuffy nose and clears lungs of stubborn mucus. There is however, a misleading information on the Front of the Box and backside with Picture that shows *5 sample pads included. The 5 included VapoPads are missing but inside is only one of the VapoPads which in the Manual booklet and on the Box's backside bottom left is correctly mentioned of. Box includes: 1 Sinus Inhaler with Comfort flex Mask, 1 Vicks VapoPad. The Unit works very well and fast relief is achieved with it.

I'm so thankful that someone basically invented a steaming pot with a mask. Usually, when I have a cold, I put my head over a steaming pot, but it can be very uncomfortable. With this mask, I can lie down in bed while inhaling the steam. It would be great if they could make the chamber a little larger so we could add more water, and it would last longer. The mask is also a bit big for my face, but overall, I'd say that even though it's expensive, it's 100% worth the money. It's also sturdy and lasts a long time.

I received in my pick up order, got home and it was an open item. Went back refunded and bought another. Box itself indicated 5 extra vapo pads included, and there was nothing more than the 1 pad that's included. False advertisement directly on the box. As for use, it is so, so..not really what I was expecting. It's used, so I don't feel this is something to return.

I would not recommend this item because it was quite expensive and does not put off steam each time. Sometimes it works, and other times you have to turn it off and on a few times to get it to produce steam. I was actually expecting this to be a great way to relieve sinus pressure, but it does not effectively help me breathe easier. Also, it was supposed to come with 5 vicks vapor pads, but it did not come with any. So, I would not recommend this item

To preface, this is actually a REALLY good product. One I highly recommend to anyone with any phlegm or congestion or throat issues. However…. The reason I give it a lowly 2 stars is, I was given a USED one. And I don't mean gently used and made to look like it wasn't. It had greasy fingerprints all over the entire device… the “5 free pods inside” were not there, and on top of that, when using for the 6th time, it started BOILING the water and it spit that up at my face and I got a tiny burn… You are probably thinking “well, why didn't you just go get a different one?” Good question, the answer is; i had just had sinus surgery and simultaneously had my tonsils and adenoids removed.” So needless to say I was desperate enough for any sort of relief I could get without going out for an exchange, let alone part with it for a refund. Instead of bringing it back to walmart, I contacted Vicks and they wanted the device sent back to them so that they can run tests on it. I am doing that as they kindly sent me a brand new one. Walmart, do better please…. I understand that many returns can go back on the shelves simply because the customer changed their mind… but checking the item before doing so, that should be a given. It was not only unsanitary, but apparently dangerous too!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM, especially when you are suffering from Bronchitis, and ABSOLUTELY do not pay extra money for a faster delivery. $42?? It worked the first time, and now it leaks, doesn't steam, and yes, I've done everything correctly. Followed the instruction manual. It shouldn't be too difficult, correct? Darn thing Only holds 2 tablespoons of water

The Vick's Vaporizer products are HORRIBLE! They deserve negative ratings. I have been dealing with a severe sinus infection and have been majorly congested. I purchased the vaporizer to get some relief. All this product did was create steam. I could not smell the Vick's pods at all and it only irritated the issue. The only thing Vick's makes that actually helps is the rub. DO NOT PURCHASE THE VAPORIZER MACHINES!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR REAL MEDICINE!!!
