Native Sandalwood & Shea Butter Shampoo 16.5 fl oz

I absolutely love this. The smell is light and refreshing. Isn't harsh to smell. Makes my hair feel thicker and fuller.

The smell is very pleasant and calming, not overpowering at all, just clean and warm. What stood out to me the most is how thoroughly it cleans my hair. After rinsing, my scalp actually feels clean and refreshed, not coated or heavy. It lathers well and rinses out easily without leaving residue. My hair feels lighter after washing, but not dry, which is something I struggle with sometimes. Overall it just feels like a solid, no-nonsense shampoo that does its job really well and leaves my scalp feeling fresh.

Im gonna need some more uses to really know how well it work at thickening and add I ng volume to my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my experience of testing Native Sandalwood & Shea butter shampoo over the last few weeks, here are the pros and cons I have noticed. Over my time of using the product I noticed the scent profile did not really come close to the products title of Sandalwood & Shea Butter. To me the fragrance was more fruity and sweet with a faint woody note in the background. A great positive with the shampoo is that a little goes a long way and the all natural formula Native uses left my hair feeling nourished and clean. This is probably one of the best shampoos I've ever used. The shampoo bottles had an excellent pump, pushing out a solid amount of product compared to other mainstream brands. With that being said, I am incredibly satisfied with the all natural formula that Native uses in their products, and that always is more than enough in my book.

The fragrance was way too strong and not pleasant at all, something I've seen many other people mention as well. My hair felt very dry, although I have to admit it helped reduce frizz a bit. The worst part was that it caused a lot of dandruff, an effect that many users also report, especially those with sensitive scalps. Even though the brand promotes a more “natural” formula, it definitely wasn't a match for my hair.

I bought their shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, body wash, and soap. They're all good but my shampoo and conditioner pumps don't work so that's a real bummer. Otherwise love the smell and good product
