After a certain age the human body does not produce biotin like it should to keep your hair and nails beautiful. I started using Biotin 4 years ago for that very reason. It has stopped nail splits as well and increased the strength of my nails. My hair has grown back a bit thicker, however I just increased the mcg to 1000 to get the benefits of great hair again. By the way my eye lashes are so beautiful they look as though they are false lashes. I highly recommend Biotin.

I haven't noticed big changes in my hair yet, but I think it is less brittle. I do like that the tablets are small and easy to swallow. I also didn't notice any stomach sensitivity to them. The tablets are vegetarian, so they are suitable for anyone regardless of the diet.
