Nature's Recipe Mature Lamb & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food for Senior Dogs, 24 lb Bag

I was looking for a non-chicken based alternative for my older dog and this food is wonderful. I like the smaller size kibble, it makes her slow down to eat. Bonus! No digestive upsets either. Will buy again.

My dog is 10 and he had started slowing down and losing fur. After about 3 weeks of eating this food he started perking up and interacting with my other two more. He has a pep to his step again!

We usually buy a wholesale warehouse brand dog food but could not make it to the store. This was intended as a temporary substitute. Our dog really likes this brand and we will continue to buy it.

Quality ingredients, no recalls in the last 12 years and certainly a fantastic brand for dogs with sensitive digestive tracts. The dry dog food is made here in the United States which means it gets to your pet fresher!

I bought this food for my senior male pug and it took him a little while to get used to it but he seems to really love it now and he seems spunky and sleeps better. I'm I'm very very happy with this food for my little rockin rocky.

I love that this is for mature dogs, but I wish there was a different flavor. My dogs like salmon flavor but so far all I can find is the Lamb %26 brown rice. The kibble size is perfect for my 13 yr old girl and she is eating more regularly now. My 10yr old big boy loves all food so no problem with him eating it. The Ingredients listed is what I was looking for when feeding my pups. Hopefully they can come up with different flavors for Senior dog food. Great product 👍🏼

My 4 little dogs 7-15 lbs age 2-5 love this food when I put it in their bowl they go right to it, I just wish it had a zip lock seal on it

We were on our 4th or 5th bag of this food, and overall its a solid dog food. The quality of the ingredients are great, especially for the price, and both my dogs love it, but my one dog, 10 year old basset, has put on a noticeable amount of weight since swapping to this brand. I currently give him below the recommend amount for his size, typically he's 48-52 lbs, and this food is less calories per cup than the previous food he was on, Rachael Ray Big Life, but hes still packing on the pounds. Not sure why this food is causing weight gain, but we sadly will be moving to a new brand, as Natures Recipe does not offer weight management/control food. If your senior dog needs to gain weight, or their breed isn't prone to weight gain/issues like my basset, i do highly recommend this brand.

Product , value excellent. Shipping horrible! It's not that I mind shipping things at same time to help but Walmart throws it all in same box!!! Seriously?!! The dog food is heavy and shipping well let's face it the product goes from truck to truck. By the time it gets to me there is no Walmart tape left on product and no packing for safety.. that means glass candles, floor cleaners, clothing mixed with my dog food!! Last box was two bags dog food, one bag cut open! I'm disabled so try lifting and moving a48lb box just to open to a bunch of dog food going everywhere. Walmart ya need to do better!!!!

my dogs didn't like it and wouldn't eat it unless I put coconut oil on it and then they ate every bit of it LOL
