I have traveled with these but I keep these upstairs in my bedroom's “coffee bar” for when I don't want to go downstairs for a cup of coffee. I use my electric water pot and one of these packets. Easy and minimal clean-up. They taste great! I love hazelnut flavored coffee. These are always on my shopping list.
OMG!! I am such a COFFEE-holic. I remember purchasing this product just to try it. I didn't want to purchase the full jar and end up not caring for the flavor. Taster's Choice is GENIUS for this kind of packaging!! It's been a few years since I've first tried this flavor. And oh......by the way, I LOVE IT!! I prefer buying, this flavor, in this size, because my cup of coffee ALWAYS turns out PERFECT!!!
These Nescafé Hazelnut fingers are very tasty and go so well at with a cookie at 4 pm. There is a drawback, occasionally, one of the fingers is as hard as a rock. It's not coffee grounds, but what appears to be a piece of volcanic glass. In this case, you can sometime pound them with a the side of a can of soup back into grounds while still in the package, more often though you have to pour boiling water into a coffee cup and drop the congealed finger into the water and stir briskly. Be careful not to splash yourself and get burned. The glob of coffee will want to float to the bottom of the cup to be stuck there, but keep stirring glob into the hot water, the hotter the better, and it will dissolve into the tasty hazelnut coffee.
I like the taste of Nescafe Taster's Choice Coffees. Instant coffee works best for me because brewed coffee has so much acid that my stomach gets upset from it. I can take it with me and keep a few in my purse incase I find myself in a waiting room. I'd rather drink this than from the coffee canisters that have been sitting. Usually waiting rooms also offer hot water so it works out well for me. I also take it camping.
I love the hazelnut flavor. For almost any other coffee I want sugar, but I don't want/need it for this coffee. Great for travel or work (if my coworkers finish the office pot before I get to it). I think it's a good price for single serving packets with flavor.
I add this to regular coffee. I love the smell and it doesn't irritate my stomach like some instants. I can't find it in local stores so am happy I can order it
I love this instant coffee. The Hazelnut flavor is amazing! The coffee is smooth and rich in flavor. Absolutely no issue with the flavor. I drink it paired with Int'l Delight's Caramel Macchiato creamer and over ice (thank me later). However, I gave this instant coffee only four stars because about ¼ of the packets were clumped (4 of 16). I have no doubt that I'll purchase it again though.
The last 4 boxes have had packets that weren't properly sealed resulting in unusable product. I've called the company and sent pictures, but the problem persists after MONTHS. This Coffee is expensive, but having to throw out multiple unusable packets from every box, and wasting time with repeatedly contacting customer service just adds insult to injury. This one's going back to the store %26 WM can deal with Nestle. I won't waste my money again.
We've purchased this many times before and we always try to keep a box on the shelf. That's why I'm only getting around to reviewing this about a month and a half after we purchased it. It was well within the shelf life. That's not the issue. But the product is hard and caked and not a powder. So far each of the packets has been fused together as block. I don't know if humidity got into it during the process or it was damaged along the way, but, for this kind of money I won't be purchasing again for a long time. It's a luxury product. Bitter taste. Not normal.
Unbelievable that your delivery driver from "SPARK" has absolutely NO common sense and leaves my order in a closed USPS office on a counter after hours in the public space! WHY didn't the delivery driver walk 5 feet from the counter where it was left and drop it into the secure blue drop door/box in the wall of the post office? The order is supposed to be delivered in working hours 9 AM to 4 PM, not at 6 PM when it is dark and cold. If the delivery driver did not know nor understand what to do, the item should have been returned to the store! Stupidity at its best, at work with YOUR delivery driver from SPARK! I am very dissatisfied and disappointed that this is the SECOND time I have had this problem from the store at 38th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix, AZ with the store that this item apparently originated from! There must be a problem with the labeling on the order and delivery instructions! (Your problem NOT mine.) Again, having to track down why I didn't get this order, calling, explaining, writing this complaint etc. is a waste of my time and my time is worth money to me!
