the only problem I have is it's a bit expensive for the amount that you get and the amount that you have to use for coverage but it does work well and keeps your skin from being burned. overall I would recommend it I just think it's a little expensive
I mostly used this on my face and it gives me a dewy finish after applying. It can be used on dark skin without leaving a white cast; give it a minute or two melt in your skin. If it looks purple , gently rub it again.
I use this product and I'm hardly in the sun. I actually apply my face serum then I apply my pond's face lotion and last i apply this sunscreen to lock in all the moisture. My face loves this routine and so do I.
No white cast at all, not sticky or weird feeling. It's the best one I've ever used! My only complaints: 1) You use a lot. I'm used to using very little product, the whole "a little goes a long way" thing, as they say. This is not one of those products. You use quite a bit of product, like 3 whole squirts for my whole face and neck. It absorbs very fast. I drive for doordash and ubereats as a side gig, so I reapply on my face, neck and hands many times a day, so it's a little frustrating using so much product. 2) I am EXTREMELY smell sensitive, like, much more than most people. My husband and mother both use this product and say it has absolutely no smell, but *I* smell it so strongly that I actually taste it. Tasting sunscreen all day kinda sucks, but nobody else I know have had this problem and others in the reviews haven't either. So if you're like me and extremely smell sensitive, keep that in mind. I'd also like to mention my husband is black and has a hard time with white cast from sunscreen, no problem with this one! You can't tell you're wearing it at all. Thx Neutrogena!
It's awesome! Doesn't leave no white cast at all. But, it does leave the skin looks very oily and it stings the eye so bad even if a tiny bit goes in the eye.
This is a great sunscreen- I wore it outside in the south during an ourdoor wedding and didnt get burned at all. My biggest issue is I primarily wanted it to work under my makeup, but with my already oily skin, it sorta made me feel gross. my makeup went on okay, and I didnt have any major issues with it, but if you have oily skin, this product isnt for you.
I am truly disappointed that the 30spf version is no longer available. I would predominantly use this product when on vacation to allow myself to tan more naturally…50spf is too much protection for me. Would have been nice to be able to choose between the 50/30spf. I have had to try to find another brand entirely.☹️
Very disappointed! My arms are burned bright red! I went out at 9:30 am and returned at noon. I was in shade for a good part of that time. I applied before I left and again around 11 am when I felt the heat and saw the redness. I use hydro boost for my face and love it but I honestly don't recommend this sunscreen.
Used this on my face and neck. 24 hours later had quite bad contact dermatitis and/or photo allergy. I was only in the sun for maybe 10 minutes so I question that is was photoallergy. Very itchy rash causing really dry bumpy red patches on my face and neck. Cortisone does not help. Antihistamines/clean cold water compresses/ lotions that are gentle with no fragrance are the only helpful things. It's been 5 days and its about 75% gone. If you share these types of issues with chemical allergies stick to the mineral sunscreens. I forgot to even think to look at ingredients. I know this is a trusted brand.
Product claims it can be used for face. Put it on my face, and it felt like I had poured alcohol in my eyeballs. Do not use on your face despite its claim to the contrary.
