Neutrogena Hydro Boost Translucent Loose Face Setting Powder, Face Makeup .44 oz

I was pleasantly surprised that this powder works so well. It sets makeup, makes t-zone more matte, yet doesn't dry my skin out. It doesn't seem to gather in wrinkles either. I'll keep buying this as long as they keep making it! It's much better than any higher end brands of loose/setting powder I've tried. I use it as the last step in my makeup process - it blends blush, bronzer, and foundation beautifully - makes skin look smooth but not shiny.

Like it, I have dry skin and thankfully this does not feel or look like it's more drying or settling so will most likely buy again.

From the moment I applied it, I was impressed by how lightweight and breathable it felt on my skin. It sets my makeup perfectly without feeling cakey or heavy, giving my complexion a smooth, natural finish.

It's so frustrating with loose powders how they'll explode everywhere when you take the lid off and its all overflowing with powder. It gets wasted and it's such a mess. The actual powder is great too, especially if you have an oily skin type like me. It sets all of your cream and liquid products in place very nicely without becoming too cakey or adding too much extra color. I probably would buy again!

I used a beauty blender sponge, but I think it is better suited to apply with a brush. directions say either way though. Overall I'm happy with the results, I just wish it was hydrating as it says.

I have been using a much more expensive high end loose setting powder and to me this was pretty much the same but even controlled shine/oil better. The only thing I don't love is I feel like although this is translucent it somehow it darkens my foundation a little.
