Works great on active toddlers and kids. No blotchy sunburn skin on the kids. Just shake and spray on. Just a note; it does stain swim suits a brownish yellow color when using it while swimming in an non-chlorinated pool but washes out nicely in washing machine.
This Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids SPF 70+ sunscreen has seemed to me a very good option, especially for outdoor activities, beach or pool. What I like the most is that it can be applied even on wet skin, which is super practical with children who do not stand still.
I've been using the Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids Sunscreen Spray SPF 70+ and I'm very impressed with its performance. It provides strong, broad-spectrum protection and works even on wet skin, which is perfect for kids at the beach or pool. The spray applies evenly, absorbs quickly, and doesn't feel sticky or heavy. It's gentle on sensitive skin and stays effective even after water play. I feel confident knowing my child is well protected from the sun.
I really like this sunscreen for my kids! 🧴☀️ It's super easy to apply, even when their skin is wet. Perfect for beach and pool days. It absorbs fast and doesn't leave a sticky feeling. Plus, the SPF 70+ gives me peace of mind knowing they're well protected. Great product for active little ones!
This product is listed as hypoallergenic. I had a severe skin reaction to this product. I got eczema all over where I had applied the sunscreen, which was pretty much everywhere since I was wearing a bikini. I had to take oral steroids to get rid of the rash. I have not had this reaction to any other sunscreen listed as hypoallergenic. I would not recommend this product to someone with sensitive skin.
my grand-daughter went to the beach yesterday...my daughter bought this for the first time...she came home with a terrible burn ...she's also running a fever...will never use this product again....however we will continue to use the pure and free baby...stay with what works.
We have used the Neutragena Ultra Sheer sunscreen for years without issue. So I didn't hesitate to borrow my friend's Neutragena WetSkin kids spray. My son broke out horribly from a rash everywhere it was applied. It may be acrylates that are listed twice in this product's ingredients. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I have previously used and loved neutrogena sunscreen lotion. I thought I would give this a try since we plan on spending lots of time at the pool this summer. We used this for the first time today and were at the pool for 2 hours, re applying sunscreen twice. I now have a horrible rash on the tops of my thighs and shoulders and back all in the places I applied the sunscreen. My 7yr old has a very severe sunburn with raised blotchy patches everywhere the sunscreen was applied. I did use a different neutrogena face stick and she didn't get burnt at all, only where we used the wet skin spray. We will NEVER use this product again! My poor girl has her first sunburn/chemical burn because of it!!!
We recently went to Florida so I purchased this product, thinking it would work great with all the beach/swimming activity we had planned. We used this on our 6 and 8 year old boys, who do not have sensitive skin and have never had any previous issues with other sunscreens. We applied it to their noses, cheeks and ears by spraying it onto our fingers and then wiping it onto those facial areas. The boys complained that it felt "funny" going on, and the soray was very cold. That evening, we noticed that both boys looked like they had a chemical burn on the exact areas that we had applied the sunscreen. Their faces looked like "road rash", similar to when a child scrapes their face when taking a spill from a bike, etc. As a pediatric nurse, I monitored them for any other signs of a reaction and we began applying antibiotic ointment to assist in the healing. I'm not sure what type of chemicals have been added to assist in the "wet skin" application, but I would advise other parents to use caution when applying this sunscreen. As for our family, we will begin using a zinc sunblock instead.
We put this sunblock on for our child's little pool party. Everything looked fine until he came in for the evening. His poor little back and arms was covered in a rash only in the places we put the sunblock. He complained that it itched an asked for us to put something on it to make it stop. I will NOT put this on him or my daughter again!
