Wish you carried it in your stores. I have to order so much of it due to a illness. This is the only lotion that has the ingrediants (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide) that I can use). If I can't order it in your stores I will definately order it from you. Great product!
I have used this product for at least three years. I am highly UV sensitive so I need a good broad spectrum sun screen year round as lights in buildings are a problem for me as well. In addition, I have sensitivity to chemicals and perfumes so many that I have tried in the past left me with rashes. With this product I not only get great sun and UV protection but no rashes. The only problem I have is that it is hard to find in my area. I was extremely excited to find that I could order it directly from the company.
This one is made with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, natural minerals. Works well. Stays on my skin without dripping into my eyes, even on the hottest days. Washes off easily with Neutrogena naturals purifying cream cleanser.
I tend to shop for good prices - Wal-Mart has one of the best prices on this high blocking sunscreen. I have always sunburned and am now a little over sixty years old - and even MORE sun sensitive. I got two tubes, one upstairs and one downstairs so I can put it on in the morning (upstairs) and touch up throughout the day as needed (downstairs!) I also put it on my hands and forearms when driving. Really aids solving some of the sun while driving problem. It is ok under makeup, does add a little lighter skin shade.
A little pricy, but excellent for sensitive skin. I use it everyday under makeup and it blends well.
Primary reasons why I purchased this sunscreen: (1) I wanted to avoid avobenzone active ingredient, because when it mixes with the iron in your sweat or hard water, it causes rust-looking orange stains on your clothing. (2) Most tans for me start with a mild burn so I opted for a higher SPF for a recent trip to Costa Rica. (3) This tube is exactly 3 ounces so I bought 2 for a 2-week trip so I could pack them into a carry-on bag. Result after wearing this product for 11 days: (1) No stains on my clothing. (2) Absolutely no burn on my skin. (3) No issues with TSA. Highly recommend!
I have very sensitive skin, including rosacea. I tend to have an allergic reaction to chemical sunscreens. Because Neutrogena for Sensitive Skin 60 uses minerals instead of chemicals, it is great for my skin, giving it much-needed protection from the sun. (Rosacea can worsen when exposed to UV, at least in my case.) I can put this sunscreen on my eyelids with no problem, no irritation EVER!
Just ok. Thankfully, I haven't had any issues with reactions like many reviewers have. I have however noticed that it doesn't absorb well at all . I expected some issues since it's mineral based (which I prefer) and not chemical based, but this has the worst absorption of any mineral based sunscreen I've ever used. Also, if you sweat, you almost have to rub it back in again. I probably won't purchase this one again.
I have used this brand in other things but as of this specific item I would say no for me. When you apply it it has an oily consistency, and once it's on your face it has like a white sort of film over it. I wanted to use this but I can't it's not from my skin I am a combo skin and it didn't work for me. I will be returning soon.
bought this because it was $2 cheaper here than in store. Arrived "thoughtfully" sealed with a giant sticker that covered the entire package and left a disgusting sticky film that doesn't wash off. The sticker says "sealed to prevent leaking" or something, but honestly I would have preferred a leak to the permanent sticky sticker grime. Hey Jet, ruining the products you sell doesn't add value. How about a heads-up in the description so we can steer clear?
