New Line Home Video - Stephen King’s It [BLU-RAY]

I remember how this looked back on tv %26 I know how it looks on streaming. It's beautiful on Blu-ray. So clear %26 perfect. Great price as well. Rebuilding our physical media collection.

Rather than the mini-series format from the TV broadcast, this disc edits the two episodes into a three hour film. The 1.33:1 aspect ratio of the original TV broadcast is thankfully retained. An audio commentary featuring the director and cast from 2002 is the only extra. The high definition transfer looks fantastic. A scary and entertaining King adaptation for the standards of TV at the time

This is one of the best miniseries of ABCs golden era. Its much better than the recent 2 part theatrical version and does it in less time

For the longest I'd had the DVD version of this film, which was fine, though the said version was widescreen ratio'd, and as most of us remember was not how the movie was made originally as it was made for TV in 1990. No widescreen at that time for home viewing just yet. This Blu-ray version retains that 1990 proper aspect and the colors are rather more vibrant in areas making this one a much memorable experience personally. What more can be said, if you were a fan of this one and it's imagery and eerie music that stuck with you through the decades it's worth going back for to relive. 🤡🎈 We all float on.

Great miniseries. I watched it when I was younger and have enjoyed it ever since then.

Everything was good with the disc and the order was received quickly.

It is a classic scary movie from the great author Stephen King. As grown-ups, a group of friends relive the horrors of their childhood. The best one in the franchise, Tim Curry, can not be replaced.
