Newport NV Series 55lb Thrust Saltwater Transom Mounted Electric Trolling Motor

I am a 60-year-old grandmother that took my older daughter and granddaughter kayaking. installed the trolling motor like a boss and went upstream 5 and 1/2 mi the last day. The trolling motor never gave me any problem, it is light enough for me to pick up and put on the kayak. Nice little motor for trolling along. pushed three of us and the kayak just fine

I use this trolling motor on a 9'0" 'hard' dinghy. IT IS PERFECT for getting to %26 from the dock and my boat mooring. Importantly, my wife can operate this. Starting my gas outboard is too much for her. We will not break speed records, but the ease of use is unbeatable. Thus far, it just works.

This worked exactly as i had hoped. I put it on my 16ft bayliner. I wasn't expecting much because of the weight of my boat. It definitely surprised me!

Was skeptical on purchasing these motors without seeing them in person. After putting them on my pontoon boats I am extremely happy with the quality and power. Very happy with my purchase.

Was a good price,solid motor..

Mounted on the transom of f12 kayak and gets the job done! Does have a bit of shake after long day on the water but doesn't affect performance.

This Father's Day gift was well worth the $125! For less than the price of brunch, we spent the day tooling around the harbor, dodging paddleboarders and kayaks. The motor pushed 3 adults in an inflatable boat at 3 MPH, keeping us safely below the 5 MPH speed limit. It seems well built, but time will tell. It shipped with a free circuit breaker enclosed too!

Appears to be a solid built unit with 5 forward and 3 reverse and LED battery indicator. Unfortunately came faulty out of the box and was not able to test yet although replacement is on its way.
