Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape, 1.5 in x 5 yds

Total waste of money as it doesn't stick at all so forget waterproof. Terrible product and extremely advertised incorrectly bordering false advertising. Don't buy if you need tape to stick.

I bought this yesterday. I burnt myself with hot coffee on my side and stomach 2nd degree. I had only paperback I could get at my village shop it Was nexacare gentle paper. It fused to my skin tightly and there was no give as my burn was over a fairly large area this pulling of the tape and the subsequent hives I developed where the tape had been concerned me. I had to drive to a larger town 80 km trip with my painful dressing intact and found the Nexacare absolute waterproof tape. I can't vouch for it waterproof quality. I can vouch for this tape it's amazing. It stretches when i bend or move, it's comfortable no irritation after 26 hours it cool. I'm a larger person and sweat and it was warm here this tape has not moved from my skin. It's so comfortable. It's expensive but worth every cent. I will be getting more when i can get to town. If it works so well on my side and stomach then on feet and hands wow.

there's not much of a selection on first aid tape and when I was looking at the reviews they said they used this for an ostomy. This works perfectly! I feel like I have a little more security at work so if something happens I have time to get to it. Piece of mind means a lot! The tape goes on well and does not peel off by itself. I will continue to buy this always. I just wish this was in my store.

I have cancer and my colon was 95% blocked. I now have an Ostomy to bypass the blockage. I lifted some too heavy boxes and herniated the Ostomy. Due to the shape now, like a small volcano none of the wafers that attach with adhesive to my body would stick. I was constantly blowing out the seal and leaking. Believe me that is no good. One day I saw NexCare Absolute Waterproof Tape so I tried it. This product is absolutely amazing. I do not blow the seals anymore, I can shower with it and it never comes loose or comes off and It stays on until I pull it off to change my Ostomy. Without this tape I would be a mess. I've tried every product that I could find and this, Absolute Waterproof Tape is by far the best and the one and only tape that works for me.

I am so glad I discovered this real Waterproof tape, as it has actually saved me money in a specific way. I use a weekly medication skin patch, that never seemed to stay on my skin for a full week, so I needed to buy and use more patches. Since the patches cost me $10 a piece, the cost was beginning to add up. Since I discovered this waterproof tape, I am able to cover the medication patch with a piece of waterproof tape and make the patch actually stay on for the full week. Considering I shower daily and do a lot of swimming in an indoor pool, this says a lot about the tape's waterproof properties. Thank you - I love your tape!!

I love this tape! I recently injured a toe, but adhesive strips never want to stay on, so I secure them with 2 pieces of this tape - One piece around, the other over the top. It acts like a cushion, so when I accidentally bump into something, it doesn't hurt as bad. It stays on, keeps the bandages dry, and is easy to remove. I have also reused a piece when I had to remove it to adjust or change the bandage. Other tapes stick to themselves, making reuse mostly impossible, but this tape can be easily separated from itself. I also use this tape over the rough edges on my desk to prevent my arm from being scraped. It molds nicely to the curves, and unlike other tapes, it doesn't come off until I remove it.

I've had a thumb with "issues" for years and tape my thumb to prevent soreness several times a week. I've found that this foam tape works exceptionally well and it keeps it secure and in place. The tape is comfortable, stays put and I can keep it on for days at a time, even while showering without worrying about it coming off. Most importantly, my wife doesn't complain about it being rough or scratchy while holding hands. This tape gets a thumbs up from me!

It took me a moment to write my review on my free Nexcare waterproof tape because I didn't need it. Unfortunately my luck had changed and I was grateful to have this in my first aid kit! I cut myself and I used this tape and it was waterproof! I hate when tape is supposed to be then it gets wet when I wash my hands or shower and I'm left with a wet bandage that either gets my skin all pruny or I have to take it off and expose my wound. I want to write a review of this product so the manufacturer can improve this product by reading the cons of this product. I use this waterproof First Aid Tape for Eczema on my lower leg, i have to seal my lower leg every time when I shower, and I have to buy this product often because this is the only waterproof tape I use that's effectively seals away from the water when showering. Since I use it often, Imagine sealing the lower leg with this tape and you're trying to sealing it perfectly so the water can't enter into your wounds, I found this tape's width not wide enough, if the width is double as wide, then I can seal my lower leg quicker and waterproof my lower leg when showering. I paddle and am a very enthusiastic one to boot, so when my fingers got blisters because I don't have any cushioning I tried this tape. It has some sticky to it, my fingers don't blister, and it is waterproof. A lot of my teammates borrow or have gone out and bought this tape because it is so good.
