This item got me out of a pinch when my battery was going bad. I was able to start my car and get to an auto store. I keep it in my car (Subaru) because if you let the hatch open for any length of time the car will not start until you jump it. I can't wait to try it on my lawn mower.

Once I figured out you have to run inside your car as soon as the meter says it's ready and turn on your ignition, it started right away or have someone ready to start it for you. Anyway, it works great. Very convenient and easy enough for this old person to do.

I've been having intermittent starting issues with my van %26 kept having to get a jump even with a new battery, so I bought this. Of course, being intermittent, the van has started every time since I bought this. Finally, today, a neighbor asked if we could give him a jump %26 I was thrilled to have an opportunity to use it. We hooked it up %26 his truck started right up! The jump only used 1% of it's battery! Definitely 5 stars!

I don'feel the unit fully lives up to its multiple start claims for a vehicle with a large engine and a deeply discharged battery. For the average user with a battery that turns over the engine too slowly to start, this unit is fine. It will even work when the battery is strong enough to turn on headlights but not start the engine wiith the lights off. In general, I would recommend this unit.

I found the switch a bit difficult to use what I mean by that is it turns the light on and then you have a fumble with trying to get it to go off and just get the battery to go on
