This camera has front and rear coverage. It is easy to set up and works at night as well. If the SD card is full it will still record but it records over the oldest videos. It also has a vibration sensor that allows it to record when the car is parked if someone crashes into it.

I have been using this dash cam now, and I am very satisfied with the results, this dash cam can record clear and sharp videos and the advanced features can help improve driving safety, with high resolution and wide viewing angles and affordable prices, I recommend you to buy it too to maintain your safety while driving.

The only thing that I don’t like is that you can’t view your video directly on the device you have to remove the SD card and read the card on your computer

Pros; This dash cam came with an adhesive windshield mount rather than the typical suction cup. If I were planning to change this camera between vehicles it could be a problem, but this is dedicated to 1 car in my case. The sticky pad mount makes the camera, which is compact and flat, very unobtrusive on the windshield, a feature that I like. It avoids the big bulky ball joint linkage typical of the suction mounts. Also, the suction cups will eventually deteriorate if left in place through the summer months. This dash cam menu setup is pretty typical of all of the others that I've dealt with. Once you decode the menu procedure they all set up pretty much the same. It's not difficult to figure out. Cons; The only criticism I have is the mediocre quality of the front-facing camera optics. There is a lot of vignetting in the corners and much lens curvature. It's like looking through a fish-eye lens. This is the 5th or 6th dash cam that I have used and by far, this front camera lens is the lousiest quality. Even my cheapy $20 job had better picture quality than this one. The optional, included rear-facing camera lens is much less distorted, and I rarely use rear-facing cameras anyway, so I considered setting up the rear camera as a front camera, but the way the system is set up the front camera is always recording, you cannot turn it off. In that case the camera will always record 2 separate files simultaneously, taking up a lot more storage on the SDHC Micro. Yes, I know, the purpose is to take back up CYA type video, I'm not making a cinematic masterpiece. In light of that I have settled on using the front camera with it's sketchy distortion. But if the camera had better optics this review would have been a 5 star rather that just a 3 star.

Dascam DC02 was purchased on 3/23/25 with manufacture warranty 1year. Less than one year, the battery die. Request manufrature repair. But they ignore, and no response. Their warranty is like scam.

Like the photo quality, did NOT like the angle the camera sits on the glass. You have to practically lay your head on the dash to see the screen. Will be returning it

just received this and it was a gift to my boyfriend as we just bought a new 2011 Subaru Outback in perfect condition and i thought this would be a great gift for him but since we havent even opened the box yet im kind of scared to even try it as the first impression i got was omg are u serious right now because the words on the box are misspelled. its supposed to say vehicle but it does not even say that. how could a good good product with this many even good reviews even spell the word vehicle wrong in big black letters across the box?! i just dont get it or understand it. especially for how expensive the origjal price is! well i will have him give it a try and then i will try and update my review but as of now it only gets one star because of just first impressions, but if it does work i will give it maybe 3-4 depending on how good it works but it still loses stars for the spelling. sorry... if it doesnt work good its staying at one star and then i will be returning it and just paying an extra hundred bucks for a better one. so hopefully i dont gotta do all that stupid stupid nonsense stuff!

All the reviews are fake or bought. The first things we noticed was all the horrific spelling errors on the box! And the specs are different on the box than what is promised in the product description. My husband decided to give it a try anyway but it never turned on, even after charging it for 2 hours and keeping it plugged in the “cigarette lighter” just like the instructions told us to do. Absolutely 100% garbage and I’ll be returning it today!
