I like this NEXPOW OBD2 Scanner Code Reader because I bought it for my son,and he is very happy with the results it shows nothing wrong about his used 2017 Honda HRV. No major or minor repairs needed at this time. So, that's a very good indicator about the soundness of the used car purchase. The mechanics is very simple. It shows an updating information about the vehicle. Learning to use it is very easy directions.

I bought this to figure out what things were going wrong with my vehicle since it was shutting down randomly -- I couldn't easily take it to a mechanic, but was able to use these codes and help the mechanic have a better idea of what was wrong and we were able to get the parts ordered and get it fixed. Have also used it on my mom's car and helped her figure out why her vehicle was shaking. Took some reading to learn how to use it, but overall an easy product for any person to use!

The NEXPOW OBD2 Scanner is a quick and convenient way to check error codes on your vehicle without having to make a trip to the dealership. I had an error code and found out that it was something simple and unimportant that I could follow a simple process to clear. It was just telling me that my air level in my tires was low and needed to be taken care of and the sensor reset. This scanner saved me time and money.

Easy to use and work with. Takes the guess work out of dashboard warning lights and also saves the $160 diagnostic charge that a mechanic would charge to get the same information

we have YouTube and we have a little code reader to give you the little numbers and letters to tell you what area of the car and what part possibly be and there's just too many ways to figure out how to do it yourself and I always care more about my work getting done on my car that I'm driving around more than some other person that's just trying to hurry and make some money and leaving out steps and messing things up and not telling you not digging you know like putting on a water pump and not digging the old seal off and putting the new seal on and one time at Walmart before you put the lug nuts on they broke off the lug nut bolt thing and trying to play it off oh it'll be okay God so I just learned that it's fun to learn how to do it it's nice to see the work getting done properly and I'll learn a lot and I'll try to fix my own everything as much as I can as long as I can find somebody on YouTube show me how to do it that's what it is so that's the way I save money and I learn

I'm very happy with this purchase! In the past we have used the free code reader available from our local auto parts store. This code reader is better than that one. It provides even more detailed information, including the date and time the code happened so you can tell if it was a one-time issue or a repeating one. That's very helpful with the diagnostic process. Highly recommend.

I bought this specifically to diagnose a recurring check engine light on my 2006 Honda Pilot. If you own a Pilot, you know those oxygen sensor codes can pop up out of nowhere. This tool was plug-and-play and instantly identified a faulty Upstream Bank 2 sensor.

Never showed, wasn't even informed that it was “delayed” until an hour after it was supposed to be here. That made the 3rd order that had been “delayed” in 3 days. I had to cancel 2 and the last one finally showed 2 days late when it was actually an express order (3 hours or less). Sorry, can't rate what doesn't show up. Won't be using the Express or Shipping features anymore.

I never received this item. Claimed to be delivered and called back Walmart right away and many times as I checked my doorbell camera and it was never delivered. Please fix

The product itself does what it advertises. It is a bit difficult to hook it into a computer to get a deeper read. My biggest gripe is it ONLY reads engine related codes, nothing computer, brakes, exhaust, etc ... for the same price you can find one that reads both engine and other.
