Nichiyo 10 inch Ceiling Paint Roller with Splash Shield, Adjustable Handle No Drip Roller Paint Brush Splatter Guard for Painting Ceilings Walls (EL01117)

Bought this to paint my ceiling. It does work, no paint drips. But it a little hard to set up. You just screw it on but the thread on plastic seemed a little off. Other than that it did the job for what I needed.

I assumed from the description “...compatible with most extension poles...” that I could use a standard threaded extension. No, that won't work. I guess I need to find a long broom handle, whittle the end a bit, stuff it into the roller handle, drill a hole and bolt them together,

I had a very small painting job in a tight area and did not want any splash. I found this tool worked perfectly.

Easy to use, leaves a smooth finish.

The handle doesn't have any threads on the inside of it. I still chose to use it by shoving it tight onto a wooden pole that caught the edges of the plastic enough to be somewhat secure. I can't tell if it's helpful or if it makes things more difficult. The roller that comes w it is useless if there is even a little texture on the surface. You carefully have to ensure you roll it very evenly in the paint pan bc otherwise the plastic shield catches the paint and defeats the purpose. You also can't see the roller to ensure proper paint coverage. It's cheaply made, definitely won't last long. I gave it two stars because the plastic shield somewhat serves its purpose.

This Ceiling paint Roller is Fantastic, Absolutely Amazing The paint will not Splash in your Face.

Worked great but one time use. You can't replace the roller.
