Well, lets face it. Walls and ceilings are not the only things we use paint rollers for. Some of us have painted decks attached right outside our backyard door and it is out in the weather all year plus the foot traffic and our pets running every direction. But the idea of kneeling down to paint it with a brush or a roller is not my way of fun, but the stand up extension was just the thing. No bending over no aching knees no aching back. Just fill the roller tray with paint and effortlessly roll your paint roller back and forth and when it is loaded with paint just walk to a place to start rolling the paint on and presto, a very easy neat way to paint a deck. Good long hard wood, not to fat, not to skinny. This pole really hits all the right spots. It's perfect to wrap your fingers around and get the job done.

This product made it easy for me to paint hard to reach areas. The best part, durable and lightweight. At times I was able to paint using one hand.

It's what I needed at a lesser price than I expected.

I thought maybe this was standard or universal. back in the day, there was a basic size. I connected my roller to it and it just rolled. I will have to put tape around it in order for it to just stay put. I probably could have just used the old broomsticks around here. probably would have fit I was just too lazy. the handle was the right length I guess more need to go into this or at least put the value down about $2. maybe keeping the ends the width of the handle it may have fitted. but with the steel end on. it kind of reduced the fitness. I guess more was paid for the steel end. it just wasn't stable enough for me. the handle is made of wood and you can tell it's not hollow. the lucky mechanism just didn't get it for me. in the midst of painting it kept loosening and turning so I had to take it off and just paint without it

I never used this pole because I really needed what I already have, a painting extension pole that adjusts to different lengths. I am sorry I bought this pole and wish I could return it.
