It is a replacement for the 2 older versions of the same size and fit battery (EN-EL15a EN-EL15b) but the only one to be used with newer Nikon cameras like their latest Z8 ! However, the best feature about this battery is that it gives you much more power and juice than its predecessors! Btw, I did my homework and Walmart had the lowest price with the same manufacturer warranty than any other store in the US !
I had no issues with this battery and my Nikon Z5.
Fast delivery! Same exact quality! Best price in Town!
Ease of shopping along with great value on the item
Battery has short life in the Z8. Shorter than the battery supplied with the camera. Percentage drops immediately after camera is turned on. The shutter count does not reset when the battery is charged. The box is labeled for the 15c, but the UPC on the box is for the 15b. Both battery and box appear to have legitimate hologram stickers, but are not as glossy as the OEMs. Battery is missing the letter mark on the battery connector. Supposed to be present on all EN-EL15c batteries.
DO NOT BUY. THE BATTERY DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH MY NEW NIKON Z8 CAMERA, ALTHOUGH IT IS THE BATTERY USED FOR THIS CAMERA.
Bought just under a year ago. Worked fine and then the case fell apart. Unsafe to use even though the internal batteries still work. Bought the Nikon brand for 3 times the cost of other brands to make sure of a quality product, won't do that again. Breakage occurred while battery was inside the camera.
Purchased Nikon batteries (en-el15c) registered as non-genuine on my Nikon Z8.
Dead on arrival. Buyer beware of seller JARV GLOBAL TRADING.
It is not a genuine Nikon. It does not hold charge like the original one that came with the camera.
