Healthier and Enjoyable Way To Make Meals

Firan1 September 20, 2018

The Ninja Air Fryer arrived in a well taped nice heavy cardboard box by Fed Ex. Once the product box was opened it was packed with plenty of thick Styrofoam on the top and bottom. The Air fryer body is made of black shiny plastic it is attractive, light weight and small enough to leave on the kitchen counter. The basket and crisper plate is made of aluminum then sprayed with a ceramic non stick coating. It comes with a owners's manual guide that lists all warnings, and safety issues, diagrams and assembly. It is easy to understand and follow the instructions and also to read the control panel on how to air fry, roast, reheat and dehydrate your foods proper. There is a quick start guide booklet with tips, tricks and recipes suggestions. It has a chart on preparing, temperature and cook times for fresh or frozen meat dishes, vegetables and fruits. The beep sound it makes when your food is ready is loud but not annoying. It is recommended to always preheat for 3 minutes. Before using the air fryer it is recommended to wash your fry basket and crisper plate they are both dishwasher safe. After using if any food is stuck on the basket or plate just soak in warm soapy water, air dry or dry completely with a clean kitchen towel. To clean the air fryer body only use a clean damp cloth. Do not scrape off with a kitchen utensil or scratchy side of a sponge this can damage the non stick coating. There is an exhaust vent located on the back of the air fryer keep the unit 5" away from any object (wall or other appliance), comes with a 32" power cord. To convert your favorite recipes from traditional oven reduce temperature 25 degree F. It's a healthier and enjoyable way on a hot summer day to cook with no or very little oil. This would make a great gift for any occasion.

Cooked Chicken Perfectly

reviewsucanuse October 3, 2018

I've seen air fryers advertised and wondered, “just how well can they really work?” Well, I've had my opportunity to use it and the answer is, “they sure do a great job of cooking chicken.” I have so much to learn still about the Ninja Air Fryer because it does so much (reheating, baking, frying, roasting). The first item I cooked was bone-in chicken breast. It looked amazing. After cutting through, I added another 10 min (these were two thicker portions -so roughly 40 min total). The chicken tasted delicious. I then tried fries (became too crisp so I have to work on that bc I must have done something wrong) and reheated salmon (User error -I put too much time in and over cooked it). The photos show the chicken I cooked the first time I used the Ninja. I can't wait to learn other great ways to easily make and reheat meals in a healthy way. And, by the way, clean up is easy (although not dishwasher safe).

I LOVE MY NINJA AIRFRYER

Diana September 16, 2020

OMG! I love this ninja air fryer it's a great addition to my kitchen! And I got it for a great price it was on sale for $69! I had been watching a smaller ninja air fryer at Macy's and it was over $100! So this was A GREAT DEAL! Not to mention it only took me 8 mins to make lunch the other day! It's a nice size for my family of 5! Now when I make my vegan wraps I can only get four in at a time, but I still love it because that's still only 16 mins to make it for the whole family! I recommend the ninja air fryer 4-quart

Great invention!

DEBORAH September 3, 2020

Week one and i'm loving this air fryer. I've cooked chicken thighs, steak, pork chops and salmon and everything has come out great. I love the fact that it's all timed so I can't leave the stove top or oven on which I've been prone to do lately. Haven't experimented much yet with veggies etc. Easy to use and easy to clean by popping into the dishwasher. I may order a basket if I figure out what I need it for. I'm sure it will also cut down on electricity as I don't have to turn on the broiler for one chicken breast or filet of fish.

Amazing Air Fryer

mvall October 5, 2018

Ninja Air Fryer AF100. I got my new Air Fryer from Ninja, and I can say that it is amazing, I'm from Venezuela and we love to make all our traditional fried food, like tequenos and empanadas. We haven't made any of this food for a while, because was needed to use a pan full of oil to deep fry them, but now with the air fryer we only must use a spoon of oil. Taste is amazing on everything we make, crunchy outside and soft and juice inside. Some other amazing things are. Controls: it has a digital screen with automatic setups, you can also control temperature and cook time. Size: it has the perfect size, fits perfect on my countertop, not like the old fryers that where very big, this one is tall but narrow, also the inside is big enough to accommodate all the food you want to cook. Look: it a beautiful and modern design, looks amazing in my kitchen, I have it always in my countertop ready to be used. Clean: it is super easy to clean, nothing gets stick on it, just a little bit of soap and that's it. Smell: Finally, I can cook fish inside my house without having the terrible smell of fry fish. Cons. Unfraternally not everything can be perfect, but I have only one negative comment about this fryer, and it is that everything you cook needs to be constantly flip to be sure it cooks even, also if you are cooking big pieces you can not overlap them, you need to put them separate, But in general, we are very happy with this fryer and we recommend it 100%

I love love love this air fryer I have used it every single day since I got it it is so easy to use and operate the only downside is if you have a bigger family you can only fit so many food items in at one time other than that it is amazing and works miracles!!!

Why didn't I buy this sooner?

Shelbynicole32 April 24, 2020

This has been the best cooking tool yet. I was hesitant to buy it at first but I am so glad I did! Extremely easy to use and makes food delicious! You can buy them cheaper but this has additional features such as roasting that others might now have. The only down side is it is fairly large and I like to keep it out on the counter due to frequent use and accessibility.

Healthier, No oven required!

Brandie28 October 10, 2018

I have friends that have been raving about the air fryer so I was super anxious to try it! I love the idea of cooking without or with very little oil and serving my family healthier, tasty food, fast. We are super busy nearly every day and I really dislike eating out all the time. My first batch of french fries I burned (and I promise I can cook lol). I didn't flip them enough I suppose and I tried to use the time-frame the book suggested. I learned to cook things for smaller frames of time, and constantly toss and flip them. Next, I cooked a batch of Okra, from frozen, that was already rolled in flour. This took more time and I wasn't sure I would ever reach the crispiness I wanted but just when I was about to give up I got good golden brown crispiness. It wasn't the same as fried - but it's air fried - it's better for you. Even the kids are using the air fryer. They've done chicken patties, onion rings, and burritos which all turned out really well. I love that food is healthier and we don't have to heat up the kitchen turning on the oven!

Interesting item

MrPete50 October 10, 2018

I like fried food which I know are not good for me. I thought I'd give this a try. I first tried some frozen french fries. They were the shoe string type. I followed the directions warm up to 390 degrees for 3 min. I rolled them around in a little oil. I selected air fry for a 10-13 min. per directions. I may have used the wrong brand or type after 5 or so min. they began to turn into dark brown potato chips. I then tried some breaded fish fillets. That time I watched as they cooked. I put in the fish first and after a couple min. I added some fries and continued cooking. The food came out ok but nothing special. The cook time seems a lot less then the manual suggested. I did notice the store bought fish breading I used was made with cornmeal, pepper and spices. The air frying really seems to bring out the flavors of the spices and fish more so than my usual deep frying. I haven't tried anything to big like a beef roast yet. This appliance seems to cook like a convection oven blasting hot air around the food. I think I like the traditional deep or pan frying food rather than air frying.
