Nintendo-zealot son loves this
I bought this for my 22 year old son for Christmas. He is a nintendo nut and has shelves of merch and games. He has been really happy with this game. It is high praise indeed from someone with a very high bar of what makes a game worthy of ownership.

Another great Nintendo exclusive RPG
Usual Square Enix developed, Nintendo published RPG. Great story and fun battle system. No job system though. Would not recommend for beginners to the genre

good strategy rpg game
This is a very good pixel strategy game. I really enjoy it during my 10 hrs play so far. The battle is very well designed. In different battles, the victory conditions are different depending on the situations. Story is good too. Every decision you make in the game will (probably) has impact on the ending. The materials for weapon upgrade seem to be limited so far. So you have to choose the character carefully. However, I wish it could have more battles than story-telling. There is only one battle in each chapter, and in some chapters, there is even no battle. Also though the game has “side quests”, but they are not quests that you can interact with. Instead, they just show you what is happening at the time at some places in the game in only 2-3 minutes and that’s it. The maps are small as well. You can walk around a small place where you will probably have a battle latter in the main quest but you can’t leave the map. So the exploration is very limited as well. But it’s overall a good game and I would like to recommend it.

Great game
Great game so far, combat is solid, dialogue can go on for quite a bit though and the story can be a lot to take in.

Terrible game
This game is very pixilated. Extremely poor to no graphics. Everything and every word a character says is wrote out on the screen and then read to you. What a waste of money. Extremely boring
