Nioxin Scalp + Hair Thickening System 1 Shampoo 10.1 oz

This is a quality shampoo that works for the whole family. It does not dry the scalp to encourage dandruff, in fact, my husbands chronic dandruff cleared up after switching to this product. It leaves hair clean without build-up of extra oils, conditioners, etc. If extra conditioners are needed, they can always be added separately, after initial cleansing shampoo.

I use the Nioxin 1 protocol . Ii initially purchased the shampoo, the conditioner, and the topical treatment. The conditioner readies the scalp for the treatment. I use A Rosemary/Mint blend on my scalp the night before I shampoo for additional scalp support. I have lots of new little hairs growing all over my head and I am very pleased with it. I learned I was not getting enough on the bop/back of my skull and began with more treatment there and that is working also. The shampoo lathers well. I put the conditioner on my scalp and make sure I stroke to the ends of my hair for strengthening what is there. The system works really well for me. I have two sisters using it also. We are all in our 70s. I ran our of the shampoo first which I why I purchased this one without the other two. The rosemary/mint treatment is by a company called "Mielle" or something close. I could tell a difference when I ran out of that one also. So- I am a big Nioxin fan of the whole regimen/process. My hair is not dry or made oily in this process, which I appreciate.

Over the years I have tried dozens of different shampoos with limited luck. I've always had an itchy scalp. Nothing serious, but still a nuisance. After using this for one week, my itchyiness on my scalp is 99% gone. I hope they keep making it.

Although this is a bit pricey, I love it!! The scent is so nice yet not too much. It smells like peppermint and I think it really cleans your scalp as advertised. My husband has very oily hair and this shampoo stops the oily look he always had by the end of the day. It also stopped the odor you can get with oily hair. I would highly recommend for oily hair

I love this product. It has stimulated my hair to grow where I was loosing it. It also gives body to my very thin, baby-soft hair.

The product is great, I've used it for years. The size seems to have shrunk, though. I'm pretty sure Walmart has the best price, but next time around I'll do a comparision shop.

Get this products. Works great. Absoultely the best. I suffer from painful bumps that sometimes appear on my scalp. Since using this product, haven't had that problem anymore
