Do you need to saturate the entire hair shafts or just the scalp?

I'm using Level 3 - 3 Step System. The shampoo leaves hair and scalp clean. The conditioner hydrates the hair without weighing it down. And the Scalp Treatment thickens hair. Balding spots stopped showing after 1st use. Not sure of hair regrowth yet but, overall, I am already happy with results.

Nioxin System 3 REALLY Works!!! I've been using it for many years. Don't stop using it or it will take you 6 months to re-grow what you will lose in one month.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had used this product before but not as the full system, it's great if you have female pattern baldness, you know when the sides are non existent. The only reason i have not given 5 stars is because the shampoo really dries out your hair, and i used it in every wash to actually see if there was any results. I have coloured hair so i can really tell if a product is working or not by my roots coming in. Unfortunately i didn't take a before and after picture but i can tell you that even where the product reached on my forehead and eyebrows the new hairs are INSANE, never had such hairy forehead in my life.

I have been using The Nioxin Hair Treatment for over a year now, due to my thinning hair. I have seen very clear results from using this hair product and will continue to do so.
