Nissin's Cup Noodles Chicken Flavor in the 2.25‑oz cup is a classic quick‑meal option built around fast prep, low cost, and familiar flavor. The core profile is simple: enriched wheat noodles, chicken‑style seasoning, and a broth designed for convenience rather than culinary depth. The updated Cup Noodles really is a paper cup and truly microwave‑safe, and that change affects both safety and how you prepare it. The switch away from foam wasn't just cosmetic — it changed the cooking method, environmental impact, and even the texture of the noodles.
I enjoy these cup of noodles very much. They taste good and are great if you're on the go a lot. I do recommend them. The only negative thing about them is they are usually out of stock or have to be shipped to me separately.
I frequently have these for breakfast. The cup is cooking those little noodles while I'm fixing and awaiting my coffee. The salt is probably taking years off my life, but I don't expect to libe forever anyway, and this just tastes good. And is quick and easy too.
Love these paper made cups.. Much, much safer and healthier to microwave, but here on the west coast they're always sold out..😒 I had them sent to my daughter in the Midwest without any problems purchasing them online through Walmart plus whatsoever.. Now, if I could only find these here in the western states again at the same lesser price and shipping fees..😖
The best way I found to prepare this is to heat up water in a kettle instead microwave, then pour boiling water into cup and wait for about 7 minutes. Then you can transfer to bowl and eat noodles. Preparing it this way greatly improves the texture and taste experience. Due to the salt content its best not to consume broth.
It's good in a pinch but recently went to hospital and found BP was sky high so cannno longer eat this product.
Sold in sealed 12pks, they decide to ship 24 loose cups rolling around box, should not break apart a sealed 12pk.
I ordered beef they were out of beef so I got chicken. I ordered on line so I keeped it. cup of soup when hungry on the Go and broke , 50 cents can't go wrong.
This order and the one right before that of cuppa noodles was a total failure by Walmart. And I will tell you why. I ordered these cuppa noodles from the Walmart in Washington Utah. They were out of them so you had these cuppa noodles shipped to me from California. You shipped one little cup of noodle that was worth about a $.50 to a dollar all the way from California. I appreciate it, but that was really really stupid. But I'm still gonna shop at Walmart.
I ordered this and it was almost a case and later learned it had to be shipped. When it arrived it was in a very small package and I opened it to find 4 packs of ramen all crunched up! Definitely not the " cup of noodles" id ordered and what could I do? What a hassle to complain only get no resolution
