Nissin's Cup Noodles Chicken Flavor in the 2.25‑oz cup is a classic quick‑meal option built around fast prep, low cost, and familiar flavor. The core profile is simple: enriched wheat noodles, chicken‑style seasoning, and a broth designed for convenience rather than culinary depth. The updated Cup Noodles really is a paper cup and truly microwave‑safe, and that change affects both safety and how you prepare it. The switch away from foam wasn't just cosmetic — it changed the cooking method, environmental impact, and even the texture of the noodles.
I enjoy these cup of noodles very much. They taste good and are great if you're on the go a lot. I do recommend them. The only negative thing about them is they are usually out of stock or have to be shipped to me separately.
I frequently have these for breakfast. The cup is cooking those little noodles while I'm fixing and awaiting my coffee. The salt is probably taking years off my life, but I don't expect to libe forever anyway, and this just tastes good. And is quick and easy too.
The best way I found to prepare this is to heat up water in a kettle instead microwave, then pour boiling water into cup and wait for about 7 minutes. Then you can transfer to bowl and eat noodles. Preparing it this way greatly improves the texture and taste experience. Due to the salt content its best not to consume broth.
Love these paper made cups.. Much, much safer and healthier to microwave, but here on the west coast they're always sold out..😒 I had them sent to my daughter in the Midwest without any problems purchasing them online through Walmart plus whatsoever.. Now, if I could only find these here in the western states again at the same lesser price and shipping fees..😖
The Maruchan noodle cup is much better. They both contain about the same amount of noodles. Easy to cook. However, the flavor was lacking. There are some small bits of carrot, but the Maruchan has carrots, corn, and the broth is much better. If you buy these to save a little money, you might want to add a little more chicken bouillon on soy sauce to amp up the flavor. The noodles have a good texture. If you let them sit about 3-5 minutes after cooking, the noodles will plump up to almost double the volume, making them more filling. I would buy them again if the Maruchan isn't available.
Great for a quick hold me off till you can eat a meal. Or just a snack. I actually used these years ago for my diet. I ate 2 of these every day, with 3 cheese ^ crackers. Plus an ice cream sandwich. I lost 38lbs in 7wks.
It's good in a pinch but recently went to hospital and found BP was sky high so cannno longer eat this product.
ok some one decided to take a 1*50 item and although they cancelled part of the order and send 75c item and mail it to me for 8drs.
