Nite Ize Steelie® Magnetic Phone Socket

The phone steelie is perfect for your phone case. If your case has a kickstand place the steely magnet to the top of the kickstand center to hold your phone properly on the knob end of the steelie. Your kickstand will still work. It holds well over the bumps so far my phone was never come off in 3 years. You can charge it while it's working. I tried the original steelie magnet on my phone but it was so strong that it cracked my case. This one is perfect. I no longer have to worry about messed up vents as this mounts on your dashboard.

I used a competitive product for a while, but after a year the suction cup mechanism broke and the mount just bounced around while I drove. I saw the Steelie system, liked the robustness of the design and bought my first one. I was immediately impressed with how well it was constructed and how simple it was to set up and use. My wife saw it and wanted one for her car. She's also very pleased with it. Fast forward several months and my company is getting ready to do a demonstration where we were doing a live drive to show people our platform and app for effectively eliminating distracted driving. Without hesitation I bought 3 more Steelie mounts to place in the demo vehicle to hold phones so we could maximize the audience with each drive. They performed perfectly. In fact, several of the participants asked about them and indicated that they were going to get one for their car. And, one of my colleagues asked about them as well and plans to make a purchase for his and his wife's cars.

I liked it because it arrived on time and there's no dislike about it because I am satisfied that I got what I ordered and I'm enjoying using it so if anybody wants to know Walmart is not a bad store it just takes a while before your order can come through so be patient and it will show up

Love these products! It's convienent to have the steelie orbiter set up so when you are home you have your phone on a stand and when you are in your car you can easily attach to the dash via a magnet. The attachment on your phone is thin so your phone thickness does not change. Love this product!

A very nice piece of industrial design; compact and functional and a great example of applied design.

The magnets are actually powerful enough to hold my cell phone onto my dashboard! And it lets me flip the phone to different angles. No more watching my phone fall to the floor OIT of my reach when I'm driving and relying on it to guide me to my destination. My only caveat is to guard carefully to disc magnet which attaches to the phone. I lost mine and had to cough up an extra $16 for a replacement. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. (BTW, although the instructions advise against attaching the magnet to soft plastics cases, it seems to work fine with my Otterbox.)

Excellent product, usually works. Google Pixel 6 was too heavy. Any other phone that I've owned was held firmly on a metal cabinet, car door, anything. I had my pixel 6 on the fridge; the weight slid it to the ground and the first drop to the floor busted something. None of the screen worked even though there was no crack.

The plus is a much better device overall than this one. The magnet is much stronger and the surface area of the rubber disc internal really helps it stay put on the mount. Had those for years - ordered these and seriously regret the purchase. I'll be going back for the Plus!
