This item is great trisomy with weather getting bad sometimes you can't get out and you can sit right in your chair or on your couch or at your computer desk and go riding without even leaving is light and it's not hard to put the remaining parts on it's only like two screws and that's the pedals so if you ever rode a bike or posted a screw you should have no problem with this on one
I had to have a pacemaker put in about six months ago and needed a piece of equipment to exercise that was small and would fit in our small home. I use it at least three times a week for fifty minutes. It works well and is well made. It also arrived quickly.
So far it is good. My physical therapist put it together. Only had to connect pedals and stance bars. He said it was a very good item that I purchased.
The panel that displays time. calories, etc is difficult to figure out and manipulate and is relatively small so when you are trying to pedal and set it, it is nearly impossible to see what setting you are on or if it is set. On the other hand, it is of a convenient size to fit in my small office and pedals just fine so I just set my phone for my time and ignore the panel.
Decent. I am disabled so for people like me with decreased leg functionality, this product could use a way to keep the foot straps upright when not in use so you could easily slip your feet in.
It is nice exercise tool, however, the paddle gets stuck from time to time. Also, it would have been nice if it has adjustable paddle straps to fit around per foot size.
No phone number or email number to contact company for questions. It isn't even on the operating manual. Unable to figure out units on the monitor other than minutes. Monitor does not show units. This is why I would like to contact Node Company. Not heavy enough to keep bike from sliding on floor, but I will figure how to solve this problem. It is well constructed and easy to put together, although you must screw in the left pedal the opposite of the right pedal that is not mentioned in the operating manual.
Seemed like a great item, but it was defective and had to be returned. The left pedal could not be screwed on because the pedal arm had not been threaded on that side. Apparently the technician went on break halfway through the job, and forgot to finish when he came back.
The ad says it has multi-functions; rpm, distance time, speed, and calories burned, along with a scan mode. No, it doesn't! When I activate the screen, either by pressing the red button or attempting to rotate the pedals, it shows a number that increases as long as the pedals are moving. The onlt 'word' that shows up is 'scan'. There is nothing that indicates rpm, distance time, speed, or calories burned. Of course, I tried everything I could think of to try to figure out how to work the red button so it would show the different modes, but nothing I did worked. The is nothing in the booklet that explains and of the functions it is supposed to do. The tension knob does absolutely nothing! I turned it completely clockwise and counter-clockwise and the tension never changed. It was impossible to pedal, as it would feel sluggish and get stuck until I pressed really hard on the pedals. I never got one full rotation of the pedals, and they was definitely no 'fluid cycling motion'. Note: I also attempted using it with my hands while it was on my table. Nope! Couldn't get the pedals to make one full rotation. I also looked where the battery goes because I wanted to see what type battery it used in case I mivght ever need to replace it. Again, absolutely nothing in the tiny booklet about the battery and there was no description on the diagram. I was not going to waste my time removing all the screws in hopes of finding the battery compartment. Assembly wasn't too bad, although the little open-ended wrench didn't fit properly and was difficult to use. I ended up dragging out my toolbox and used my own tools. I got it together in 5-10 minutes. I considered returning it, but that would require me to take it apart and try to repackage it using the broken styrofoam it came in (the box wasn't damaged, but the packing material was in several pieces). It would also cost me about $40.00 in return postage, as well as me having to get it to the UPS store. (it weighs 9.2 pounds on my digital scale). I paid $45.00 for the product. I am not going to spend $40.00 to return it! I took it out and tossed it in the trash bin! Don't waste your money. This is a cheaply made by a company that does not value it's customers. There have been several complaints to the BBB, one of which took close to 1-year to resolve. Most complaintes were for faulty product; item received not as advertised; and multiple unauthorized charges to credit card. The 'parent' company is Spohn Global Enterprises LLC, which is not BBB accredited. There are several smaller retail branches owned by them across the US, Mix Wholesale and Node Fitness being two of them. Ironically, Node Fitness sells the very same product I purchased through Spohn Global Enterprises LLC for $12.00 less and they offer free shipping! I am usually more prudent when it comes to checking up on unknown companies before buying from them. NEVER again!
The build quality is actually pretty good but the unit doesn't work in practice. As soon as you start pedaling it moves around and makes it impossible to pedal. The pedals are also way too close together. I was hopeful that this solution would work but it's not usable
