Nordic Ware Naturals® Classic Metal Covered Baking Pan

Fantastic covered cake pan. Easy to clean and cut/serve cake. Not nonstick but used the aerosol flour oil spray for baking and cake did not stick to the pan at all. Washing the pan and lid were a breeze. Perfect browning and lid seals and keeps the cake fresh. Pan is lightweight and easy to open and close as well.

I've wanted to get one of these pans for years. They finally went on sale, at a price I could afford, so I jumped on that. I was so tired of buying lesser quality baking pans to get me by, only to have them rust or get all scratched up by family members who didn't understand that their non-stick coating would be damaged by metal utensils. This aluminum number from Nordic Ware Naturals should last for a good long time. My father in law has had his for at least 30 years now and it's still going strong. It's the perfect size for cakes, big batches of brownies, lasagne and such. The lid makes storing your baked goods so easy. I'm going to feel so much better about using it instead of plastic wrap or foil. The lids also doubles as a cookie sheet. While not non-sticks, this can easily be used with your non-stick product of choice. I tried it out with some parchment paper when I baked a chocolate cake and it worked so well. The cake came out perfectly baked and the lid helped keep it fresh for the few days it took us to eat it. The only downside I can think of is that this pan will lose it's lovely, shiny look if you put it in the dishwasher because the aluminum interacts with the detergent, water and high temps and that causes discoloration. It will still be safe to use. It just won't look as pretty. I plan on hand washing mine until the day comes when someone in the family inevitably forgets and puts it in the dishwasher. I'm also planning to keep an eye on the Walmart website because as soon as this baby goes on sale again, I'm going to treat myself to a second one!

I was replacing another Nordic Ware pan where I damaged the pan - but was such a fan I replaced it with the same one %26 bought one for a gift. I like that it is lightweight but heavy duty. It's perfect for freezer meals as well since you can use the lid without worry of plastic cracking like other 9x 13 pans

I bought 10 for grands traveling to keep sketch pad, etc to stay organized. The price was incredible deal. Would not recommend for baking since it is aluminum.

I can't belive I found it. here at amazon. and when it arrived and I opened it, it was wow. I usually use dispospal pans, but then it tears, then I have a pan, but it is so dusty. now i got this metal pan, and so far wow... it' helps that it's nordic, but made in the usa

This is the second of this particular bakeware for my Bride! She really likes using it! Bought her the 1st & she loaned it out & well, you know how that story ends! So, I purchased a 2nd one for her! She was very happy! I did the purchase from Wal⭐️Mart w/ pick up service, excellent transaction! Was shipped to the store very quick & pick up service was even faster! Oh, & I get more "CAKE" too!

I love this pan. You can bake it and then frost it and then cover it and take it where you want I would recommend.

I expected better quality from a Nordic Ware product, which are usually heavy and durable. This one is made of thinner metal (can't remember if it's stainless steel or aluminum). Its quality is good, just not as heavy duty as expected. I'm still going to use it.

I buy only Nordic Ware sheet pans. They are thick and sturdy amd last forever. I was surprised and disappointed to find that this pan is much too light, especially for the price. Returned.

Was told this would be a fantastic pan for baking cakes. I was super excited to receive it until I opened the package and there was paper inside. The pan had been bent through shipping and the lid refused to come off….
