I have a fold up ProForm stationary bike that worked for me occasionally but after fracturing my patella and diagnosed with spondylosis of the lumbar, I needed a bike I could ride every day. I have used this bike every day since it arrived a week ago and I am loving it. It took me about 1 1/2 hrs to put together, instructions were simple and when it instructed that 2 people are needed, they weren't lying. The screen might be a little small but it's bigger than my phone which I used on the ProForm. The fan is an added feature that works great. The seat is a good size but hard so I bought a padded seat cover. The handlebars and the seat are all adjustable. We've had an iFIT membership since the pandemic, we got our 1st year with the NordicTrack treadmill and a SSi22. This studio bike follows the workouts from beginning to end but you can override to increase or decrease to your ability. There was no year membership with this bike, it had expired, so be aware of that but I did get a month free.
Great Bike, Smooth Ride, Excellent Resistance, Great Screen Display, Great nice big seat etc. Very Sturdy Just like a Gym Grade Exercise Bike. I absolutely love this bike and I highly recommend. Easy to Put Together…. Really good Price! Get it get it get it. I prayed for an exercise bike and God sent me this one so if God thinks it's good then it's good lol
This was actually a really great purchase works really well especially for price. Putting it together was actually really easy however there was an extra piece that was include but not listed on the instructions or in the prices After having it for about a week there were a few things I notice The seat is a little wobbly and the bars are a little too far away even when adjusted to the closest setting Also it seems to have to be set up to WiFi for manual mode which has to update every single day and can take up to 15 minutes. Other than that it works really well and doesn't take up a lot of space also it seems like it's pretty sturdy doesn't really shake
This is a terrific casual or beginner bike. Its not as sturdy as the ones in a gym, but its perfect for at home use. The handles are a bit unsturdy so have to be mindful when standing. The iFit studio is super cool and on my first live class, the trainer actually welcomed me! This is the perfect peloton-ish bike that is affordable and practical. And, if you are like me, it will eventually collect dust and hang some clothes to dry! But hey, it is 1/5th the price of a peloton. Enjoy!
The bike did its job but we will be returning it. There is no free trial with iFit like the package said(I called iFit and they said that program is discontinued). It doesn't track your stats if you don't buy into the iFit program. The bike itself is somewhat "rickety". Some of the parts are cheaply made and parts of it move when they should stay stable. There is a limit as to how close you can place the handlebars and they were too far away for me to be comfortable, even with moving the seat as forward as possible. The bike does ride and it is fairly easy to put together but if you are looking for a more stable, well built and up with technology bike this is not it!
Bike is good price for home gym. Saw exact bike in Nordictrack website for 3 times the price. Love the screen and that it is interactive. Wish screen was a bit bigger though, but can’t complain with price. It is not heavy, so front side wobbles side to side when pedaling fast. When setting up, a screw in back where console is snapped. Ok, no big deal. Don’t think it affected stability or any thing else. Smooth ride on Day 1 with no noise but day 3 was cranking noise with every pedaling, which is ignorable cos I’m focusing on trainer speaking. Saw other reviews on resistance being hard on low level. I have to admit it’s been over 2 years since I was on a bike, so I am finding it almost impossible to get to 80-90 rpm, even with me being fit. Maybe I will get better with time. Don’t be discouraged if app updates doesn’t happen. Noticed on day 1, tried again day 2 and 3. Called Nordictrack day 3 and the guy told me to press reset button. Though manual says there is a reset button but doesn’t tell you exactly where. After searching and calling my husband to help me search, there is NO reset button. Guy on phone was able to help with workaround and app updated. But he insisted reset button is on every bike but he doesn’t know where exactly on my bike, and admitted manual does not specifically say where because the company does not want to advertise it and people pressing it too much for little things. Huh??? Another thing manual says is bike auto shuts after some time of inactivity but that is not true. If I unplug from outlet, the whole thing resets and I have to log in to iFIT and set up like first time, which is frustrating. It’s been a week since using bike, but I worry about bike console being on constantly. I have a Nordictrack treadmill which has an off button and a Nordictrack elliptical which turns off after period in inactivity, yes granted that both were much more expensive than the bike. What I’m trying to say is the bike is not my first rodeo with the company. I do love their products and its trainer interactive lessons. That’s why I wanted a bike from them as well. But this bike certainly has its pros and cons.
I know the machine is a good one because I had one that burnt in a fire, but Walmart shipping seems to deliver damaged items. After trying to see if I could save it only to find out the framework that was damaged so bad the bolt would not even go into it therefore that made it unusable.. trying to return it is a huge job because it I came so damaged. The box was damaged beyond help . Getting it back to a store is gonna be extremely difficult because of the weight of the equipment a huge disappointment.! I took a chance I read other reviews that they got damaged bikes that didn't work and I still ordered it. I took a chance. It was very disappointed! It is gonna be a challenge to get it back. I would totally recommend if you ever got a damaged box don't bother trying it make it work, it so much harder to try to use damaged equipment and then find out you can't and have to put it back together in the box. I would not recommend to get this order shipped!!
Absolute junk, don't waste your time or money. Product came out of the package damaged. iFit screen stopped working after a few days, I have tried all suggestions on the internet and none have worked. contacted iFit support and have been waiting for a response for over a week. Just don't
Never could get the screen to work properly and connect. It would just give me a white screen. It loaded one time and I was able to do a ride but never worked again. I submitted request for help and was never contacted to resolve the issue. Will be returning.
Though I'm mechanically inclined, it was difficult putting the bike together. Once together the resistance, even on the lowest setting was too strong; it did not allow for spinning with low resistance. That's as far as I got. Once I realized that it would be difficult for me, a biker, to achieve 80-90 rpms, I dismantled the bike and returned it to Walmart. So, 2 plus hours of hauling the bike around, building and then dismantling, only to return it was a frustrating experience. Luckily Walmart accepted the return without a qualm.
