The really killer feature of this beard trimmer (which doesn't seem to be advertised well imo) is that it it doesn't miss a bunch of hairs like most trimmers do. The adjustable "built-in metal comb" guides the hairs directly into the blades, since it's the same piece of metal that the blades cut against. This is very different from a trimmer with a plastic comb/spacer, which will sort of lift the hairs but then drop them before they reach the blades, allowing them to curl away and avoid being cut. With this trimmer, you no longer need to do several passes to ensure you haven't missed any hairs. I've included a picture with the comb/spacer fully extended so you can see what I mean. Note: it might not be quite as effective if you use the plastic spacer (for lengths greater than 5mm), although I expect it would still work quite a bit better than other trimmers.

I use it for my beard and mustache and it is really precise and smooth at cutting and trimming. It has a lot of features like the dial adjustment and the pivoting head with the beard attachment, it is also 100%waterproof so it can be cleaned easily. It is rechargeable and fits nice in the hand. Not sure of the charge yet since I haven't used it that much.Really a nice product.Nice job Phillips Norelco.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AWESOME PRODUCT ! ! ! I wish it was a little more "Personal / Consumer" sized. Its the best trimmer I have ever used/owned, but I wish it was a little less bulky. I say that a recommendation for the next generation versions, as I'm sure the batteries will come down alot in size in later versions. I have used it almost daily for almost 2 months, and still have not had to recharge!! You get your monies worth and then some!! Awesome Quality!

It's trimming precision is not accurate

Was good until it stopped working after 2 months. New record for Philips products.
