Northwest Lap Desk with Light and Cup Holder for Laptops up to 15” (Blue)

The lap desk is bigger than expected. A laptop will definitely fit on this. My Chromebook can sit on it. I read the measurements, but I still did a "wow." The light is stored in a zip pouch in the back. The light takes 3 of those flat round batteries. Wish it was rechargeable. Either the batteries are low or this light is not very bright. Nor does it have enough coverage area. But it is still a nice lap desk. Can't really beat the price.

Love it. Lightweight, simple, nice fabric, inexpensive, love the tiny light. Yes, it's plastic and cheap but it works for me. All the others I tried were heavy. This is easy to carry around and has a handle and a zipper storage area in the back for storing the tiny light.

This sport is very sturdy uncomfortable on your lap. What I really like is the extra light that you can stick to shine on your keyboard if needed.

Cute, lightweight and works great for kids, especially during travel! Only problem is the cup holder is not attached. My youngest grandchild's cup got stuck and she pulled to get it out and the cup holder came out as well. The little white foam beads were EVERYWHERE! Tip: Glue the cup holder in so this doesn't happen. A child could end up ingesting that foam, which would not be good!

My first lap desk did not come desk did not come. FedEx lost it. I reported it and I never heard another word so I ordered it again and they did get it out another one the second time fedEx lost it. I reported it and I never heard another word. Walmart refunded my money very quickly so I re-ordered it and I did get that one quickly and I do like it. I guess it was worth the wait but I'm really disappointed that I didn't hear from FedEx or the company about the first one.

It gets the job done for a flat surface on your lap for writing or laptop use. I wouldn't recommend using the cup holder because it's shallow and pops right out with the slightest shift of the “beans” on the bean bag underside, but it's good for holding crayons or pencils in a cup so kids can keep their art supplies handy without them rolling away. The pencil tray fits relatively wide pens with a clip on the cap. The manufacturer added a removable label on the front surface to let people know the light is included in the zip pocket, but I'd imagine if you're not keen enough to check the pocket for the light when you don't see it in the box then maybe you don't know how to read yet. The zipper on the pocket doesn't have a plastic or metal stay on the end and immediately broke upon first unzip. It's easy enough to reattach but inconvenient none the less. The handle is part of the fabric bean bag and might stretch out or tear over time but it's light enough to simply carry by the sturdier top surface. At this price point we kept it despite the minor inconveniences.

The light doesn't stay illuminated very long which is frustrating; otherwise, it serves its purpose.

The light wasn't very bright %26 wouldn't stay on. I wish the light had been in the center of desk. I had to return, it must have been defected.

When I received my lap desk I was excited because it had a light!! This changed when I went to bed and found out the light was more of a dim glow, i was sad, but I remembered i had some twinkle lights that i could wrap around the light on my lap desk.. It wasn't much better. So I couldn't use it for anything small , a few days later I got my 2nd disappointment, the cup holder and light were not glued in and didn't stay in. I glued my light and was about to glue my cup holder down, but tit popped all the way out and out popped all the white little balls everywhere!! Never again will I purchase something like this, without seeing and trying it first!!!
