I teach art classes and bought this as a cheap alternative to electric. Yall!! This is an awesome pencil sharpener! I love the edge it leaves on the pencils. I love it being battery operated so i can move it around often and wherever I need it. I highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

I ordered this after careful consideration. I wanted an electric sharpener but I really liked the look and size of this one and the good reviews helped me decide. I have to say for a battery powered sharpener, this one far exceeds my expectations. It has power as good as my old electric one and it sharpens better than it also. I don't have to shove the pencil in and hold it for a long time. It takes only seconds to sharpen and it does not chew the pencil up like some sharpeners do. It leaves a nice sharp point. The sharpener is small enough to fit on smaller desks and stores nicely out of the way. It is light weight and easy to clean. The only thing I would like to see different are the color choices.

So my boyfriend bought a lot of adult coloring books and colored pencils so we needed a reliable sharpener. This one stood out to me with the color of it and the price. I have had it about a week or so and sometimes use it daily and it does an excellent job of sharpening. I also love that it is battery operated so it's portable! Highly recommend this sharpener.

Have just received this item, so don't yet have a long track record with it's performance, but so far it sharpens well. The size is perfect for a small work area and the price was right. Battery operated, so no need to look for an outlet. Just be careful emptying the shaving container (hold it over a trash can). I would recommend & buy this item again.

I ordered this particular pencil sharpener because of the size. I wanted something small and didn't take up space on my craft table. I also wanted one that was battery operated. It works quite well. Great price, cute design reminds me of an apple. I ordered one for each grand dude. I think I will give it to them for Easter and hide it.

Easy to use, excellent quality, nice appearance. My son has it at hand for homework. It sharpens the pencils without breaking the tips, zero effort.

Very handy until lead gets caught in blade, once you do it enough you start to figure out how to stick it in without it getting caught

I had a pencil sharpener that I found at a local Goodwill and loved it as it had a really nice “cup” to catch all the shavings. Unfortunatley, this one does not have the nice little “cup” but it does a GREAT job at sharpening the pencils. The cup thing is something that I will get over and for the money, this little gadget does the job well. Still happy with my purchase.

Super easy to use however, the lead points come out of pencil. The quality of the sharpener is really not great at all

I was so excited to get this pencil sharpener and it has completely disappointed me. All it does is spin my pencil around. I have to press super hard for it to work then I have to yank the pencil out because it won't let it go. My hand was sore after doing this for just 3 pencils. So we are back to using just the regular ole pencil sharpener that cost about 1$ and it works just fine.
