I got my first set when I was 9 and my son has his own set now. perfect timing as they are learning angles in school. I have explained he will use math all of his life and now is a great time to learn about instruments that will help in calculations and if he takes care of them they will last for years.

Perfect for when I need it.
This is a very good compass and protactor. I only need one every once in a blue moon so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. The durability and sturdiness of this set will last me years. This is great for kids and for students. Two thumbs up and Five Stars!

This was purchased for a 8th grade student to use in Math class and it has been very useful. It's made well and is durable. I highly recommend this Westcott 2 piece compass and protractor and would purchase again if needed.

Budget friendly for general use.
Budget friendly compass and protractor. Even comes ready to use with pencil. Is plastic and a little fragile for an energetic aggressive user. We needed the set for many of our crafting projects at home. Perfect for many students. We give it 4 stars for durability, 5 stars for random use and being budget friendly.

Not much use yet but so far withstanding 13yr old!
Bought for my sons Algebra class. Seems to be nice and sturdy and so far, has withstood the teenagers backpack!
