I got one of these microwaves in blue about five years ago for the kitchen and it's still going strong. I added a kitchenette and I wanted a pop of orange. This microwave is just as cute and very retro. It functions beautifully and I love the color!
My fiance picked the orange color and I was skeptical, but wanted to make our home feel like ours. and honestly its grown on me. it reminds me of a orange creamsicle, I'm not even a fan but it gets a smile out of me every time I see it. I love the setting and how the button is also a dial, setting up time was a breeze- why is it always so hard on other ones?! and the child lock is so simple to undo (as long as you know how, just a button press) which is helpful for when im just trying to warm up some milk in a hurry for my little one. super simple to use and a great design. Takes up a small amount of space which is great for our place since I like having a lot of working room in the kitchen.
I bought this for a gift for My Mommy as her favorite color is Orange %26 this was the icing on the cake with the cherry on top when this gift arrived 🧡the quality %26 price 🙌 I had been shopping around %26 other sites were overpriced. The gift arrived on time, this was a good purchase so far, I hope it continues to do the job 🧡🙌🧡
I have a soft teal-colored kitchen. And since my old microwave went out on me, this teal microwave was a perfect choice. It looks great in my kitchen and it's easy to use.
From the moment I saw this microwave I fell in love because it was purple. I have to review the instructions more in detail. The knobs and buttons are easy to use and the microwave does not take up a huge amount of space. The only thing is that it has a slight difficulty in setting the time. It heats up really well.
Turntable didn't work right out of box. Contacted Nostalgia and they were useless. They couldn't care less. Now it's just a nuisance and hassle to return the thing. There's people out there with real problems so I feel silly even leaving this review to be honest. However, I did get taken advantage of with this broken microwave so I'm leaving review to warn others.
The door will lock whenever you are cooking. You can't just open the door to stop it like every other microwave in the world. You have to press the cancel button. Even when it's finished cooking, and you'd assume it would unlock automatically, the door will remain locked until you press cancel. Sometimes you have to press it twice because it doesn't register. I. HATE. IT. Apparently it's a new law. And apparently other microwaves can disable the feature. And there is nothing in the manual.
The glass carousel didn't fit this microwave, and customer service was no help. I first ordered the microwave in January - it was sent to the wrong address, after over a month of many emails saying they were running late (originally supposed to arrive in 3 days). Finally they refunded the money, and I had to start over. Now I get the 2nd one, with a mismatched glass carousel. They only offer to replace the whole microwave, after I spent over an hour setting it up, including, pulling out the refrigerator to plug it in -- and I'm over 75, and it was very difficult. The customer service people did not care.
So I received this microwave on march 8th. It's now June 26th and it stated sparking and making a buzzing noise. I'm scared to used it for fear that it will catch on fire. Hopefully Walmart or the company I bought it from will refund my money.
I really wanted to love this microwave but that didn't happen. I gave it one star because the microwave is super cute. But, it's not about looks it's about performance. With that being said, first day I used it, it broke. Returned it and will not repurchase.
