We love Chik-fil-et ice cream but want organic. Found a close recipe. The machine works fine. Love that it makes a full gallon. It really takes an hour until the machine cant turn the canister anymore. I found it is important to mix ingredients in the canister and put them in the fridge until cold before putting it in the machine. Finally, if you can't control yourself, don't start making ice cream. 1/2 cup is between 250 - 320 calories, depending on recipes. It's just a nice finish to a meal.
This ice cream maker made delicious homemade ice cream in 30 minutes. I am pleased with the performance! I hope it holds up for years to come and the price was great!
Absolutely amazing! Brought back a lot of childhood memories.
The ice cream is really good. It comes out thick, but remember follow the instructions.
This is so easy to use. My 5 year old Granddaughter helps me mix the ice cream mix and then we add the ice and salt around the out of the aluminum tub and with in 50 minutes, start to finish, we have ice cream
Worth the money. Used to make keto icecream and it turned out perfect!
I love it very easy to use I recommend it to everyone
For everyone leaving bad reviews about the ice cream not hardening or issues with the paddles the problem isnt the machine its either your recipes (ratios of fat to sugar) or amount of ice /rock salt. After using this machine for over a year now I have had several amazing batches of the best ice cream Ive ever had and my fair share of odd textured bad or Mediocre ice cream. After lots of trial and error and research the consistency of the product comes down to a the recipe. The machine has worked consistently each time. When I tried to cut the sugar or fat to make it healthier or used non dairy creams it just came Out very bad texture, icy and weird. When I use the standard heavy cream 2cups and half and half 2 cups with 1 cup sugar vanilla it comes out prefect every time! Only complaint is the metal canister has oxidized (turned black inside) we have very hard water and I left it in the sink. :( I cant find a replacement canister . Have to buy the whole thing it seems. Idk if its bad for u to use the canister still... but I just wanted to clarify about some negative comments I saw. I thought it was worth it for the $20 I paid a year ago. :) also no one off switch is annoying but not a big problem
There is no “ Fill” line. I have only used one time so may get better but the one time I did use, maker ran one and a half hours and still had not stopped on it's own. Ice cream was not firm in the middle. Maker made a whining/ squeaking sound so I unplugged it. Like the looks. Has plastic stopper not cork. Just not sure I can recommend given what I experienced so far.
So i read all the directions, and my package was missing 2 or 3 of the pieces that were needed to help churn the ice cream mixture. I do not reccomended this to anyone. it was a lot of work for it all not to work in the end. Low quality materials
