Nice sturdy well made Churro maker
It seems like a very well made churro maker for $20. I have several Nostalgia brand items and I've been happy with them. I love small appliances and whenever I find a new one I have to have it!

Churro with a twist
Not a necessary appliance. For better churros stick to traditional methods. I was not impressed by results although it is better than frying.

Purchased as a christmas gift and very sad to say, we're missing out on breakfast churros because it's broken. The package has plenty of packing, so it's hard to believe it happened in shipping. Terrible heartbroken teen girl. she loves churros, so now where do I find churros for her on Christmas. I'd suggest you open it before gifting.

Not worth the hype if there ever was any...
I find that it makes glorified and weird-shaped "churros" that are basically odd waffles. The bottom doesn't get a crisp edge to it...maybe if it rotated. It's time-consuming to make, and I spent hours just to make 26...yes, that is my fault, but I wanted to see what it could do, and it was just not worth the aggravation. Would I recommend? It's a Yes and No answer really... if you wanna give it to a kid with some batter and let them have at it, then sure. If you think you're going to make "Churros," then you might as well "go pro" with an Easy Bake Oven. It's going to Goodwill. And, I'm going back to deep frying for Churros.

Arrived broken
Arrived broken at the bottom. Maybe it was mishandled, but probably not enough sturdy. Returning it.
