Not Your Mother's Plump for Joy Volumizing Mousse, 7 oz

One of my favorite hair products ! I have thin, naturally curly/wavy hair and this adds body and fullness without being stiff. Makes a great curl cast! Smells good too. My local store apparently has stopped carrying it so I am not happy about that.

Love not your mother's products. I have curly help and it really keeps the frizz down and give me volume. Smells wonderful too!

A body building mousse that everyone loved (different brand) was discontinued several years ago. I could not find a mousse that worked. I have fine hair with slight waves, but a lot of the fine hair. I need body. Last year, I ordered about 4 mousse products of various brands from different places. I disliked all of them except this one. This is not crunchy and leaves my hair soft but with body. It's just what I need. Thank you Walmart!

Smells Terrible; had to throw it away

This product is disappointing. I really like the Curl Talk mousse and LOVE the scent for the entire Curl Talk line, but I wanted to try the Pump For Joy mousse because it has heat protection. It smells like beer or sourdough bread or something. It's not good. The hold was also lacking, so I'm surprised that this is listed as a level 3 hold when the Curl Talk mousse is only level 2. The Curl Talk mousse is definitely a stronger hold. I ended up needing to rinse it out because I couldn't stand the smell anymore.

This has to be the stinkiest product I've ever smelled. I would never use it a second time for that reason alone. For those who can't smell, you'll love it. I give it one star because it really does provide lots and lots of volume to fine, thinning hair.

The smell is horrible. Smells very perfume-y and old lady to me. It's not like a mousse texture at all. It's very foamy/wet. Made my hair way more limp than if I hadn't used anything at all. Returning.

I never got to try it, when my package arrived via fedex , the outside of the box was crushed and when I opened the box the entire contents of the package had been dispersed through out, there was no cushion, just some paper thrown about and the neck of the bottle had been ripped off and the the contents exploded all over the inside of the box and by the smell emanating from within, there is no way that fedex did not know they damaged the package.
