The Grey Novogratz Maxwell Twin/Twin Metal Bunk Bed is a solid, well constructed to protect my 7 year old twin grandsons. The bed is delivered in a box measuring 84" L x 15" W x 7" D and weighs about 100lbs. It was well packaged to protect the internal pieces. The parts are all marked with a Letter corresponding to each piece. The assembly is quick and easy. The instructions steps are precise and straight forward to follow. It took me about 30 minutes to put together. I will mentioned, pay attention to where the side rail marked H will go. It is the side to mount the ladder. I had mine reversed and simply removed and reinstalled on the correct side. The parts kit includes an allen wrench, open end wrench and package with all screws that are marked by number relating to each hole to be screwed into. I used a hand held battery operated drill with allen wrench bit to quickly assemble as opposed to using the included allen wrench. The mattress support bars are locked into side rail and uses a plastic clip to secure in place. The color options are grey, pink and dark blue, but mine is grey as you can see from my pictures. Having assembled this bunk bed myself, I can say I trust it to my tough, rough, bouncing, always moving around 7 year twin grandsons. Like I said, it is a Solid well Constructed bunk bed. I give 2 thumbs up to the manufacturer !!!

Prior to this cycle of Spark Reviewer selections, I had been shopping for a set of bunkbeds for our spare bedroom. When I saw the bunkbeds on the Walmart Spark Reviewer list, I knew it was a real treat for me. When the delivery driver brought the box to my house, he warned me about the box being open. The glue the manufacturer used to seal the box, did not hold. Hopefully, nothing is missing. This bunkbed is sleek and modern looking. The ladder is not overly noticeable, but still provides ample room to enter the lower bunk. After receiving this bunkbed, I wrote the company to see if the bunkbed could be separated into two separate twin beds. They responded within a day. That is my biggest disappointment with this product. The option to change it to two single beds is not possible. I still think the bunkbeds are lovely, and they will be used. My grandchildren are so excited about sleeping on Grandma's bunkbeds! Thank you Walmart Spark Reviewer!

Very Good Bed to put together. It weighs 100LBs in the box and is a really long box. All of the pieces were in it, even some extra of all clips, just in case. The instructions are very easy to read and step by step. It took about an hour and a half for my husband to put together with the allen wrench that is supplied with the bolts. If you have put a bunk bed together before, you really don't need the instructions. We have a 6 inch memory foam mattress on it and you can not feel the bars at all. They are close enough together that it supports in nicely. The only problem I have with it is that the ladder sticks out. This means that we will have toes being hurt by tripping on it a lot. So, to fix this problem, we just moved the bed to have the ladder in the corner. I think this bed is definitely worth the purchase!

I really like this Bunk Bed in the grey color. It is very attractive and modern looking. It is well built and will hold the weight of someone up to 220 lbs. on both the top and bottom beds! Rather than buy expensive mattresses to put on it I bought some very nice foam ones that fit perfectly and are less than 1/2 the cost of spring mattresses. This bunk bed will be perfect in my grandchildren's room! I would highly recommend it.

My son who just turned eight was out growing his old bed. The Spark Reviewer program gave me the opportunity to receive a new bed for him. He has a half brother who comes to visit often, so the second bunk eliminates him from having to sleep on the couch. I didn't have a choice as to what color of bed frame I was receiving and it turned out to be a nice neutral gray. The frame itself is heavy and solid with a sturdy ladder. Putting the bed frame together was easy and straight forward with no hitches. The Novograd Maxwell bunk bed has a nice clean modern look and provides a nice solid platform for the mattress. I am still waiting for the second mattress to arrive to complete the setup. If you are looking for an affordable and well built bed frame I would recommend looking at the Novogratz Maxwell bed frame line. My son said the bed is comfortable and I am very pleased with the final results of my installation.

Metal bunkbed but different material from our other previous bunk bed. This metal bunkbed is a nice color texture. Good material too hold mattresses. Very secure ladder attached from top to bottom to the bunkbed. My girks are very happy with this twin set is more spacious in there room.

This bunk bed comes in one long box (about 6 1/2 feet long) so don't take your sedan to pick it up. And when you do go to pick it up, take someone very strong with you, because the box is VERY heavy. Unpacking the box was fairly simple, and you can check off the parts against the assembly book easily. It is possible for one person to assemble the bed, but definitely easier as a 2-person job. The bed is sturdy and not too tall for younger children, However, the ladder rungs are very narrow and may hurt children;s feed, so I am going to add some adhesive padding. the supports for the mattress are not springs, so additional insulation will be required to make the mattress (not included by the way) supported more solidly from underneath. The bed cannot be separated into 2 twin beds fir when children outgrow the novelty of a bunk bed. Nonetheless, a pretty solid product, abd a helpline is included with the instructions.

Plan to spend some time to put it together but, that would be the same with any case of bunk beds. You want to have safe beds so be sure to use all the parts and read the instructions. It has over 400 pounds of weight capacity so you can use this for kids or most adults. The twin/twin takes two standard size twin mattresses. The set is around 64 inches bottom to top. This was a nice neutral color that went with anything. It has good sturdy rails on the top for safety. I think it's great for an extra bedroom for grandkids and doesn't take up a bunch of space.

Lots of issues with this delivery but once they were straightened out and I received the product I was very exited to get it put together! Bed is nice looking. Sleek, modern, metal, exactly what you would expect from a Novogratz piece of furniture. Assembly wasn't awful, did t take nearly as long as our wooden bunk beds. All parts and instructions were clear and easy to find. The only issue is that the bed has LOTS of damage to the paint. Not just a scratch here and there either, , several large patches of deep grooves into the paint. Luckily this is gray and they aren't super obvious from a distance but they are substantial. Overall it's a move bed but the amount of damage is impossible to ignore.
