I bought the 250 softgel option & glad I did because I would buy this garlic product again from here at Swanson -but first will also look to see what options the Swanson brand has which also usually has very excellent choices. for almost anything Jim H

This has a strong smell. Real strong. I only take one when I take these. I usually use Kyolic garlic, but do use others on occasion. Taking one I have not noticed any garlic odor being emitted from my body- which is what you want to look for if you have to go in public.

If you are going to take a garlic supplement, garlic oil is the very best way to use it. Some companies push the odorless garlic, but the stuff that gives garlic its strong odor is the stuff that makes it work. Swanson is the only company I have found that still sells real garlic oil and they keep the prices low, so I can afford it. The quality of Swanson products is excellent, also.

Great quality for the price

I haven't had this long enough to do a proper review, but since taking it I have noted occasional burping up a garlic smell after taking this product.

If you really love garlic, these are for you. You'll be able to taste these through the day and night and into the next morning. For me, "triple strength" is far too strong and I won't be buying these again. These caps gave me a nasty aftertaste that lasted and lasted and upset my stomach. I see Swanson's has a 500 mg. cap, which, I hope, will work better.
