This was perfect for my granddaughter helped with her transition to a cup. Spill proof easy to use and no thin neck like a bottle so great to clean, is strong plastic so will now beat used for my other granddaughter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: this item was received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This is a great learning cup for toddlers. Mine hasn't quite figured out open cups yet, and I think this will help her get there. The adjustable flow knob is great to keep her from pouring water/milk all over herself, and I like that it can be completely closed when not in use. We're still on the slowest flow possible, but getting there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our little lady just turned 12 months old and has been using other popular sippy sups for about two months. She just had them mastered when I received this NUK trainer cup as part of a Stellar product testing panel. Upon first inspection, I really enjoyed the design of the cup; The adjustable flow is fantastic, the lock-mode works well, and the lid is easy to clean. The first time she used it I had to put the flow on the lowest possible setting, like almost locked, because she wanted to suck the water out like her other cups and would get huge gulps of water. It occurred to me then that she may be too young for this cup yet as she's also still breastfeeding and just has that natural instinct to suck. She loved using it though, and was very proud of herself! I also realized you really have to devote to using this and should probably get more than one. It wasn't helpful switching to a different style cup at each meal. All in all, I think this cup is genius and hope it holds up well because I will definitely be using it more as she gets older!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cool concept! I love how my daughter (1) gets to practice drinking from an open cup without the large amount / “gulp” coming at her. She's seen us drink from regular cups so she instantly / instinctively took to this cup. We tried the second “level” but she wasn't quite ready for it but I'm sure she'll get there and I love that it's there when she is ready. Thank you so much to the stellar panel for providing me this cup to test.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NUK Sip Trainer Cup is the most convenient cup to grab and go! My daughter is 6.5 months, it took her a some practice to hold but she is still a little young probably for a cup.I throw it in my diaper bag and don't have to worry about spills. The adjustable flow knob was helpful to prevent my baby from drinking too fast causing her to cough and it is so easy to clean. I will definitely be ordering more. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for introducing this cup to me and my baby!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A big thanks to Stellar Products Testing Panel for giving us the opportunity to try out the NUK Sip Trainer Cup. My child found it easy and enjoyable to use and I found it to be a cinch to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. The adjustable knob is perfect for flow control and the lock setting works great for travel. For now we are using the lowest setting since my child is just starting out. I look forward to continuing to use it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had started our 7 month old on an open cup and she took to it pretty well but was having a hard time tipping her head back. This cup is nice because it prevent all the water from pouring out of the cup. There is an option to pace the water to whatever speed is comfortable for your baby. Our baby now understands that you don't have to put your face down onto the cup and that the cup can come up. The cup itself is quite big for a training cup and too bulky for a new drinker. But with support, it works great. The blue is cute too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this sippy training cup as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was very easy for my 15 month old to use, but they were very used to using a cup they have to suck from another competitor. So it took a couple tries to get the hang of. I really wish this cup was out there when we first started sippy cup training. It's the best of both worlds, it has a lid but comes out similar to a open cup. We have tried all flows, I think the lowest flow was still best for us at his age and after being used to other sippy cups. Easy to clean, easy to use, win win for a parent and baby!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cup to try for free as part of the Stellar review program. It didn't go so well though. My toddler wanted nothing to do with it. You would think it was filled with gasoline and was lit on fire prior to giving it to him. Couldn't bribe him to even handle it. That was a shame. My wife and I got to play with it though. It's an interesting design/idea. You simply adjust the knob and it adjusts the amount of flow. You can even turn it off completely and it makes it watertight. That part is pretty nice. The problem is that it closely resembles the anti-leak sippy cups that only allow flow when the child sucks on the brim a little bit. This gives you a false sense of security that this thing isn't going to leak if/when it gets knocked over. Not the case! It definitely leaks (especially when thrown by a 2 yr old.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NUK Sip Trainer can be a practical tool for older kids transitioning to a regular cup. My twelve month old was trenched in water every time she used it. The water speed didn't start out as slow as I would have expected. It ended up being more stressful and needed to be supervised entirely while using the cup. Not to mention when they tipped it over it just created even more of a mess. I wouldn't recommend this product if your looking for an easy training cup, of all the other sippy cups I have used to train my older three children, this created the biggest mess. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this sippy cup.
