I love the quality used of the product. Its very soft %26 doesnt juts rip when you fluff it. I made a cloud light in my ceiling with it. It's pretty %26 I would definitely recommend using if this particular brand of youre thinking of having cloud lights.
it is something that you have to build or put together. it's not very big at all a lot smaller than I expected. but it's still cute and my daughter enjoys it
Neat idea but the glue had already been spilt in the kit so there was no glue, the string didn’t stay in place with the tape provided and it was smaller than we thought but once we added some of our own stuff to it, it turned out great.
So if you’re thinking that you’re gonna have a super cool thunderstorm inspired background with large fluffy handmade clouds. Well then you’re wrong. It is a fun little project to complete with the kiddos %26 sure the lights are pretty but the puff ball stack that you end up with. But if you like me and kind of thought, you would end up with a cool ambience didn’t think again because the size of this cloud is actually closer to what the Barbie Dreamhouse would need to make a cool ambience big enough to make the dramatic effect be felt in the way. I’ve hoped it would in a normal size girls room. Be prepared to stretch cotton in ways that you probably never have before and if you have a little bit better glue then what it came with then I would recommend going ahead and having it on-hand prior to starting the build. End game size is the length of a 16.9 oz recycled water/Snapple bottle (6-8 inches long) and the circumference of a small dollar store pool noodle. You know, the thin -floppier, small holed version that’s good for crafts. So all in all your cloud- once combed and pulled apart and refluffed into the shape of your choice (IF you’re lucky enough to result with an actual shape). I ended up with a asymmetrical stack of flopped over cotton -glued and reglued for hopes of structure, but instead created multiple small sections impressive poof that lost is clout as the layers of cotton from the outer layer would stick to my fingers or to themselves … creating a sort of wispy feathery vibe like that from a dirty or tired cotton candy machine. Thus the ‘cloud’. doesn’t hold, absorb, or deflect the led lights in the manner in which I tried to so masterfully create. My suggestion… layer your Own bottle of choice glue with just enough to show you care but do it while the cloud bottle hangs freely from a clothes line- suspended in air on one side but clamped from movement on the other. If you don’t you’ll end up like me… more cotton glued to your fingers and shirt that the actual project itself bc it will swing at you, stick to you, and dries quickly once the spinning and webbing everything within its potential wet wispy grasp has begun. TIP: Elmers Glue… yes the white school glue is pro choice. Yes, it is slower to dry, but much less of a rebellious adhesive than the polyvinyl alcohol based glue that comes with the kit. Fun project, but don’t buy this thinking you’re gonna make a HUGE shift in the Aura of your room by making a lighting bright statement with your head in the clouds. Bc you WILL be disappointed. Unless of course you buy about 6-7 kits and combo them into two clouds. Have fun and oh…. If you have thin bendable wire to run through the bottle and cap vs the lower density fishing string they included… then save yourself some time. Don’t spend 15 min fishing for the string like a hidden message in the bottle, when you can deliver so much faster if using wire! %23Kids %23Science %23Brightness %23Ideas %23Recycling %23Plastic %23Decorum
When you pull the contents out of the bag, you feel like youve been scammed. Its a small string of LED %26 remote, a bottle, some poly fiber, some string and some glue. I immediately wonder why I didnt just throw this together with the stuff I have at home?? It's a sticky mess to assemble but it was a fun little project to my daughter. It came out looking like a nimbus cloud according to her. Thats the only reason I gave the assembly a higher score. The battery case is super heavy and makes it awkward to hang without deciding to secure it to the wall or place on the cloud. The remote was fully responsive and the lights changed. NOW the reason I gave the one star is because the cloud wouldnt turn off. I grabbed the pack to turn it off manually and it was HOT and it hadn't been on an hour. Then I attempt to use it again to see if it's still not responding to the power button on the remote. It responds this time. Cool I turn it off with remote and it decides to keep turning itself back ON! Changed to red and wouldn't change colors. Get up and hit the off switch manually not only would it not turn off but it was Burning Hot! Luckily I have cook hands because someone more sensitive would have been hurt and sued. Replace that battery pack people!!!! I didn't bother to fight with Big W for a refund. This is my long winded warning for those who take the time to read it.
So you know those 99 cents clear bottles that you get from Dollar Tree for like your household product and then they gave me a cotton ball they gave me some wire and they gave me a little small string of lights and I had to put the thing together myself and it was not worth $10 it was the cheapest thing in the world and I'm mad because I can't get refund because I feel like I opened up everything in the box so don't get it it sucks
Low quality. Contents include an empty water bottle that youre instructed to glue cotton on to... The Glue: the container it comes in is low quality, mine was completely empty as it had leaked all over the contents of the box and hardened. Contents also is to include string.... Nope, no roll of string was found in mine. Id like to add, my packaging was sealed. it was not a previous return, just plain poor quality and craftsmanship.
Just make sure that you fully read description before purchasing. If purchased in store then you would know but I purchased online and didn’t realize it was a plastic water bottle that you glued some cotton balls on and had 3 feet of light. I thought it would be higher quality and maybe four times the size when done. But it didn’t lie so it’s my fault for not looking into it more before purchasing.
The battery area is way too heavy after I got it done. It’s too heavy to stay up. Also, they give you more fabric fluff that you don’t need. You can’t make it more than the size of the bottle if you can show me horrible horrible product.
It is a bottle that you glue stuffing on. Wasn't given enough glue for it. It's the smallest cloud in the universe. And the glue make the stuffing look weird.
