NUK Suction Bowl and Lid, Assorted Colors, 2 Pack, 6+ Months

The bowls are really great!! They are lightweight, They stick thoroughly to the surface you pick, the Lid is tight And keeps things fresh and little ones unable to open it, and the colors and what it's made from is attractive and looks expensive.

Yes, I gave them 3 stars because they are cute, thick, durable, and tight fitting lid. The downside here would be the suction- yeah, not the best. When I press the bowls down, I hear a sound that sort of would signify air escaping, therefore creating the suction has occured, but when I apply even slight pressure, it is not suctioned on...at all! Tried on many surfaces and all were a fail. Either way, we will keep because they will last, but if suction is a make ir break for you, look elsewhere!

Could always be less expensive and suction could be stronger on bottom.

Nice size and good storage with the matching lids, but the “powerful suction” just wasn't there. I tried it on 3 different highchair trays and our table. Even used it damp as suggested but it still was loose instead of sticking in place.

I like these bowls and the lid fits snug. Suction of the bowl to the high chair table doesn't work. Tried wetting the suction ring - still didn't work.

It does not suction down to any surface I've tried so far-the high chair tray or the wooden table-also neither wet or dry. If it sticks down at all it is quickly pulled off by my son in a matter of seconds. I've continued to use them in hopes that he will stop pulling them off and because I truly like the sturdiness of the bowls themselves. I've hand washed them after using and have noticed that they don't stain so that is a plus.

Great sealing to avoid spillage, easy to wash, microwaveable, can be refrigerated, BUT the suction has never worked for me. I purchased them for the suction specifically %26 no matter the material I've tried, no suction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of these bowls, the color, the style, the shape and stacking ability. Can't forget that these are both microwave and dishwasher safe which is a must have in my household! And when I found out that these bowls had suction ability, I was hopeful. Unfortunately just like all the other bowls that promise suction, these did not either. HOWEVER, I think the lack of smoothness to OUR table is the big contributor to the lack of function. So while they didn't work for us, I'd try it out on other very smooth tables. Barely suctions. I tried this on my solid-surface quartz countertops and my 11 month old doesnt struggle at all to rip it right off. I tried making the seal a bit wet - didnt help. I gave 2 stars for design and quality for the fact that they're at least microwavable and dishwasher safe, and come with lids.

Do not waste your time. These look nice but have barely any suction. They either disconnect on their own or once you touch it, it disconnects. Very disappointed
