Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, 23 fl oz

I have always wanted to try raw coconut oil so I was happy when I got this to try out for free! I always use skin and beauty product that contains coconut oil but I don't even know how much coconut oil is in them or even if it's REAL coconut oil or just some by product. This is the REAL thing. So far I have used it on my skin after taking a shower. You don't have to use a lot because the coconut smell is very pronounced but it won't bother you if you love the smell of coconut. I mix a tad bit with my regular lotion and rub all over my skin. I use it on my heels as well. It's keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized for hours. I also plan to use this coconut oil as a deep conditioning mask in my next hair wash routine. I heard it's very good for your hair. You can't go wrong with this! Looking forward to great results.

This Comes in a glass jar. The Aroma smells fantastic. It can definitely be used for cooking. It I use the coconut oil as a facial and body moisturizer. Works so much better than store brand moisturizers. I even use it in my hair as a condition and then wash it out. I Love this product.

I always have coconut oil around because it has so many different uses. I use it in cooking, moisturizing skin, as breastfeeding balm etc. The list goes on! I always use it in my popcorn maker because it makes amazing popcorn. It moisturizes dry skin and eczema great. It doesn't aggravate eczema like some other remedies. It's organic virgin coconut oil which is most highly recommended which is a plus! I love that coconut oil is a solid at room temperature and easier to mold but melts fully and easily for cooking. I am working toward cooking all my food in healthier oils and I use coconut oil most of the time now. It is not flavored so there isn't any coconut taste for those that don't like it. Fairly large container compared to most I've seen. I'm super happy with this oil and its many uses. I hadn't heard of this brand before but I'm going to check out their other products! very happy i was given this big Jar(23 FL OZ)of Goodness this happen to be my go to for eating healthy food period it organic and it is consider a super food i used this to cook with if you are a popcorn eater try cooking popcorn with this so yummy you never cook popcorn the same again or pop some and add this afterward i even use this on my hair after shampoo rub some on it and leave in your hair will smell like coconut this is great for dry skin also , storage after opening just put it in a cool cabinet or pantry it so much you can use this for AND if you find brown specks it is coconut speck this is also non GMO,no HEXANA,non HYDROGENATED or TRAN FAT, A Great pick for using organic coconut oil in food or hair & skin care it really work

This oil is fantastic for sauteing, cooking eggs, baking, etc. One of my favorite uses is for making homemade granola. It adds a crispiness along with great health benefits that cannot be matched by other oils. In comparison to other brands of coconut oil, Nutiva has a rich, thick, creamy consistency. Some cheaper brands lack quality in this area. It does not have an overpowering coconut flavor since it is virgin. It smells like coconut but doesn't taste much like it. I have used this product before, this is my second jar. I love using it to melt chocolate for candy and strawberries.

I use to buy this from the manufacturer but they no longer sell direct. I was very happy to see walmart carries it now.

I use this coconut oil as a massaging oil on my baby's body. Organic coconut oil was recommended by my baby's pediatrician to cure his eczema. It does its job... moisturizes my baby's skin while leaving him with a fresh coconut smell! Loving it!

The item I ordered clearly states in a glass jar and that's the reason I bought it but I received my 2 orders in plastic jars. Very disappointing as I am avoiding anything that's been contaminated by plastic. Beware.
