NYX Professional Makeup Hydra Touch Face Primer, 0.84 fl oz

I am so happy i found this primer! I chose this one because of it's skin loving ingredients. I have combo / oily skin and this primer does exactly what i need it to do. It applies nicely over top of my serums and smooths out my skin so that my makeup goes on effortlessly and looks flawless. It is great for my sensitive skin keeping it calm and reducing redness. While i still use a light powder throughout the day, i do find that this primer helps to keep my shine under control. As well, i love the light weight texture and feel of this product. I find many other types to be heavy or even glue like. All in all, love the ingredients, satisfied with the results and happy with the price. My new go to primer for sure. I have extra dry skin and this primer gives a fresh moisturized appearance. Absolutely obsessed, I can't start my face without using this as a base first!

I wish the bottle was a bit bigger since it's great for everyday use, even when you don't want to wear makeup and is more effective than using lotion to hydrate the skin. You also don't need much to cover your face, it also dries instantly so you can work faster in your routine. This product does not feel heavy, after a full day and it doesn't make your skin feel more oily or less dry if you use it by itself or with full coverage make up on, WHICH I LOVE!

I received my Hydra Touch Primer about 6 weeks ago & have been in love with it since the first time I tried it. My skin feels so much better & my foundation just glides on! Once again, NYX has proven, I needn't buy from anyone else.

I bought this earlier in the month and this product is best far the best thing that has came into my make up routine even after using it only a hand full of times. It is affordable, but is great at hydrating my face while helps keep my face smooth and looking fresh especially since I have really dry skin and drier skin in the winter/fall months; it really has changed up my make up game! Hydra Touch Primer gives my face an extra boost of hydration even after my daily face routine that I do everytime before I apply my make up which includes a moisturiser cream. Since my face is on the dry side, this primer is the very first thing I apply to my face then I let it soak in for a bit and apply a bit more to any areas that I feel are a bit more drier then other parts (i.e. I tend to get a dry patch close to my hair line on my forehead and by adding a bit more to the area the dry patch vanshes and leaves the area feeling smooth and hydrated. Same goes for my under eyes and sometimes my cheeks and chin in the winter/fall months) which helps to make sure my make up applys nicely on all parts of my face! I have noticed a huge differance in the apperance and feel of my face while wearing make up and after I remove my make up as my face is not as dry. This product has saved my face since I have been usuing it and will definitely stay in my make up routine even if I am not doing a full face of make up! Even if I apply other primers over top, Hydra Touch Primer is the best first base primer when your skin is on the dry side! While wearing make up, this product keeps my face feeling fresh throughout the day and I couldn't be happier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've used a primer and I love it. I have sensitive dry combination skin and I didn't find this too oily as compared to some moisturizers but still keeps my skin moisturized enough even for a Minnesotan winter. The primer was so effective at keeping my makeup on all day that I started using less of it! My blush stays pigmented throughout the day because of it and now I only use powder foundation instead of liquid+powder. The primer not only creates a smoother makeup application but also smooths out my skin that my smile lines, which can get quite prominent if I sleep on my face, even disappear. My only problem with it is that the bottle is a little small and after a month and a half of using it I'm about 2/3 way down the bottle, but that could be due to the fact that I just apply it with my hands.

It's really good for hydrating but there are probably better primers out there. Still really love it and will probably buy again since it's affordable!

The bottle is VERY small for the cost of this product. I don't think it's worth it.

This works only as an eyeshadow primer for me. It does feel light, but on the face it stayed slightly tacky and almost emphasized fine lines with makeup over top. Not crazy about the scent either: starts ammonia-like but softens to a citronella-type scent on the skin.

It didn't give me the coverage I needed. My skin still appeared dry.
