I had a previous fan like this, that stopped working. So I wanted another battery operating fan, and I was so happy that Walmart had it. I live right behind the G C store. So I was so happy to find this so close to me. It is an identical powerhouse of force that my previous one was. I really like it, so much.
My lights were out over the weekend and they kept me cool through the night, I have absolutely no complaints. I would definitely recommend the fan to others. Especially during this hurricane season.
This is a good, inexpensive, battery powered little fan. It has two power settings and puts out a lot of air, I originally bought it since I live in an area prone to hurricanes and frequently have power outages. It is worth the money. This is the second one I've purchased and will purchase again if I need another little fan.
Love these battery powered fans! Have had two of these before. One finally quit after several years of use. Was thrilled to see that I could find a replacement! We take these when we go to outdoor activities in the hot Virginia Summers we've been having.
I am really surprised at just how much air this little fan moves. Very quiet. Now I was using the fan in a really cold environment so I didn't get it to last with 2 batteries more than 24 hours but under normal conditions I would think you could probably get maybe 40 hrs continuous use which is pretty impressive.
Absolutely love this fan. I like how it runs on batteries. Iv been taking it everywhere with me. I even took it to the drs appointment today. Put it on low so I was nice and cool. You couldn't even hear that I had it on. Now they just need to make one that you can charge or run on batteries. 😊 that way il know when it's gonna start to die. I'm not so sure il know this is starting to die until it dies. But either way love this little fan.
This was a great saver for me when I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner. Being in the Kitchen around a hot stove and having the heat on because I had snow outside. It cooled me off. I stayed cool, calm and collect. It was just enough not to blow you out of the kitchen, but keep you cool.
I always use a fan but couldn't take an electric fan on a cruise. I brought this and it worked great. Note: cruise cabins are small. But I put it on the table beside me and it moved enough air to keep me cool but not cold. Would probably work good for camping, but I'd rather go cruising.
This fan uses 2 D batteries which can be expensive, and it does not produce much air. The batteries, even using high quality ones, do not last long when running the fan for hours. Can only be used for a quick cool down, then turned off, but not enough blowing strength even on high to help much I don't recommend unless it's your only option!
I bought this by a mistake. Once I realized the battery is not rechargeable, I decided to return it. I did not even open the box. Fans use up the battery power fast. I have to recharge my other personal fans after an hour's use. While D batteries may last longer than the rechargeable batteries, they can only be used once, and are not friendly to the environment.
