Always use OEM Motorcraft on Fords
I always use OEM Motorcraft filters on my Fords. The FL-500S is used on all my 3.5L ecoboost engines. My oil reports have never had any concerns from large amounts of contaminates in the oil. We tow in the summer heat, short trips in all types of weather, and the FL-500S holds up.

Oil Filter
The oil filters I received came un boxed but I have to say for this filter for some reason in store purchases the boxes don't have tops on the box as the others I see. I have no idea why this is. I would think they All should come in a closed box for dust dirt protection . They did arrive un damaged .

Reliable OEM Product
The Walmart seller threw the filter in a Manila envelope and shipped it USPS arriving with packing material lodged in the inlet. If the shipper could have put less effort in, they would have. Buy this directly in store so you see what you get.

don't recommend this seller
bought new motorcraft oil filter and filter has no seal over it not in its original box just sitting in shipping box with filter hole open.
