Officemate 5-inch Standard Steel Bookends, Modern/Minimalist, 1 Pair, Black (93021)

I purchased these bookends ... for my bookshelf!! What a surprise! Only kidding. They ARE however, the perfect size and provide the appearance to fulfill my needs ... PERFECTLY, of course. No kidding though, they are exactly what I was looking for. Quality!!

I've encountered many types of bookends working as a shelver in a public library, and this is by far the best. It holds any book or CD firmly on any surface and never breaks or slides.

The book ends worked very well and are quite sturdy. The order from Walmart was delivered within 3 days.

These are nice bookends. They are short, so they fit CD's and DVDs very well.

I had trouble keeping my books upright, but since I put these bookends on each side of my books i have no more problems. Thanks.

I was hoping that the bar where the books sit on was longer. I have picture albums on one side and another set of history books on the other side of a set of only 4 books laying down on there backs. So to take any one out they all could/and do collapse. Hence the need for book ends. However I do believe I couldn't find the measurements to the piece that the books sit on and would have liked one that was a little longer to give more security. The reason for a 4 star is because the description was not accurate, showing the measurements from end to end and not breaking it down from the book end. I like that it was smooth and not any curves as some that I looked at seemed that the book would not slide over easily (and reviewers said that the books did not slide easily because of the fancy design). So this product was smooth and was the reason I even looked at it.

These bookends were too light to hold books together. They look good but I wanted something stronger.
