If you have a dog that is a chewer, especially with everything, this has curbed her into good behavior. She is a miniature Australian shepherd and doberman mixed, which she is less than 15 lbs. She is a.big dog in a little body! They are rolled, so it keeps her busy for a couple of days. She is very active, and get bored easy!
I don't buy a lot of Old Roy products because their quality a lot of times is way substandard. however, these are super cheap and if you have really bad chewers. these are a cheap alternative. I know you're not supposed to give your dog rawhide, but to buy the high dollar expensive plastic type of thingies that are $20 and up for one, and the dogs end up with a belly full of plastic, these seem to be a better option. and they are extremely affordable. definitely keep a dog busy from boredom. just make sure when they get too short to throw the stub away so the dog doesn't choke
Our dogs absolutely love these! They're the only rawhide bones I buy because they never make them sick and they last pretty long for our dogs. Recommend for anyone with large dogs that are heavy chewers.
The Ol' Roy Rawhide Rolls are long lasting for my giant breed dogs that can chew up anything fairly quick, lasting about a whole 10 minutes of chewing, which for my dogs is a long time. Also the price is good.
Great product and price! If you have big dogs 🐶 who are chewers this is the perfect choice. We have a chocolate lab and Rottweiler puppy and both seem to enjoy the hides. Since these are the traditional rawhides, I do monitor them when they get to the smaller pieces so they don't swallow it. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
While its not the best healthiest treat to give a dog (as a vet professional of over a decade), this keeps my dogs busy for a long time while im tending to my toddler. Theyve had no symptoms of gastic distress.
I like this product and it's somewhat a good value however the dogs get tired of them and I have an older dog and a giant puppy and both of which aren't really interested after they polished one or two off each. so I put them away for a little while, as I do with their toys after washing them and usually with their toys they're excited to get it and think it's new but with these bones do not that excited about it anymore. I'm thinking maybe the favor could be a little bit stronger or something I have no clue??
We were disappointed to find chopped up pieces crammed inside the rolls to dry as a whole piece. It Never was like this in past 10 years." Our dogs are choking on the small pieces lately." I buy these XXL bones due to our Great Dane can't eat smaller ones, they cause problems, then sickness all over the house.. This Companies Products sold in the past, used to be 1 large piece, rolled tightly, that would last a couple of days. Now they are soft, pouris rawhide, easily chewed up outer piece and full of pieces, That can be pulled out in hard chunks, swallowd and bone left hollow and short in just a few hours. Not worth the $$ or Dr. Bill's. So I'm looking for an alternative to this bone..
I have purchased these for years. The vendor on these must have changed. The rolls are thinner and shorter. My dog broke a tooth on one of these. We have four dogs and cut these in half to give them something to help keep the teeth clean. I have to soak them so we don't have issues with damaged teeth. Very disappointing. More expensive, lower quality.
I have been buying these for a long time. The last couple times they are different they are breaking down %26 splintering. I'm afraid to give them to my dogs now. Not sure if they would get stuck in the throat stomach or intestines.
