I got these as a substitute when they stopped carrying the spicy cheddar and omg I love them so bad. I didn't even like taki's when I started getting the shells. Now I can't eat tacos unless I have these shells. They've been outta stock for a minute and I'm highly irritated they're back in stock now and $10 😠 also majority of the time they're delivered they are all completely crushed 🤦🏽♀️
So after reading the reviews I decided to get 2 boxes just in case I had a lot of broken ones and yes majority of the first pack was broken. Out of 20 I only had 13 that wasn't broken but that's what I expect when taking the risk of buying hard-shells from the store and especially through grocery pickup. But I gave it 5 stars because the taste is amazing and I decided make a mini taco casserole with the other 7 broken shells.
I bought these for home made Taco Bell tacos. These where good like literally delicious. I love the chili powder on the outside of shell and together with the meat and everything is delicious. And there's the hint of spicyness it's not too hot just good enough. I love it definitely will be buying again. Sometimes I eat them on it's own. Really good too.
Oh, these are so, so Tasty!! Is it any wonder they don't stay on the shelves? Yeah, because when I like something, everyone else starts buying it...lol I thought when I tried Blue Corn Taco Shells and Lime Taco Shells that they were pretty good and they were. But, who needs good, when you can have Great?? Whoever thought of Cheesy Taco Shells was Genus. I'd like to try the new zestier ones, but they are always sold out everywhere and haven't been lucky enough to find them yet. I absolutely love that these stand up. I always put a lot of goodies in our tacos (too much stuff) Then, no matter how I try to lay it or prop it up, it always ends up falling over and there goes sour cream, lettuce, avocado chunks, tomato, salsa, everything all over the plate. "Well, that isn't very attractive." Now, it just looks like a Doggie Bowl. But, with these taco shells, you can load them up, as they have ample space for filling and they remain upright. Tah Dah!! Now, my masterpiece can be appreciated. These are delicious, they stand up well, have a nice texture and aroma, are attractive and are just plain fun. Take a boring Taco Night and put a little Pizzazz into it. I recommend these and hope they continue making them. Thank you for reading my review.
i got these just to try the new flavor and they are awesome. if you're a fan of the Doritos Bold shells (which were my favorite) you have to try these.
Eating these for the first time gave my life a clearer meaning than anything in the last 10 years. If you dont like hot chips dont get these, they're hot. If you like hot chips get these, they're hot
I'll probably try these shells again but my initial impression is they're too thin for basic sliced fajita meat and break easily. i chose this product solely because i sought a Doritos flavored tavo shell but i guess they're not produced for retail sale. Anyway, the flavoring they use here is good 👍. Not spicy but satisfying.
So i really like the Stand 'N Stuff tacos because i can really fill them up with my favorites. I wanted to try these because i like spicing things up when i can. From the first bite, i knew something was off. Salt, all i could taste was salt, no heat, no flavor, just salt. I thought it just might be me, so i continued eating. The salt is a very fine powder on the shell, so there was no way to brush any off the shell. By the time.i finished my third taco, my tongue felt burned, and i could not finish the rest of my dinner. I will not buy this product again. I would suggest that if you buy this product, just fix one taco at a time and have a backup plan, just in case.
Too salty, like makes you pucker from too much salt. Not large like I expected just the same size as the cheap ones from Dollar Tree. The Lime and chili pepper with all the salt made me vomit. That salty bitterness hit the back of my throat and made me sicker than a dog.
Nasty mixture. Too, too much seasoning per bite. The lime is great but almost impossible to get. It to is a little over seasoned. The nacho cheese is the only one - to my tastebuds - that this heavy seasoning treatment (think Doritos) really works. Plain are great.
