Apparently this deodorant is supposed to make me smell alluring as a wild man, but I’m a lady. I still love the vanilla and sandlewood scents for when I’m working out like a Viking. I always prefer the strength of men’s deodorant and when “that other company” stopped selling its “Gold” edition at my go to store (with vanilla hints), I didn’t know if I could find a suitable replacement. I did, and it’s fantastic. Good job old spice! So this girl that works out like a Viking ...dropped her “Axe” for it (insert winky face). Dragonblast! (Insert action movie music) (listen we’ve all got cabin fever right now but at least I smell good) -Katrina 4/2020
Best deodorant Ive ever tried. After trying several deodorants that leave my clothing smelling bad, or simply will not keep you dry or wont last 24 hours... this one actually checked all the boxes. The best is the smell, is pleasant with sandalwood and vanilla, really wont be looking at any other scent or brand for that matter. Highly satisfied!
I'm 13 years old and I've been on the hunt for the perfect smell. It's relly good it makes me smell like sugar cookies. My arpits feel smooth, I can go two days without putting on more. It doesn't affect my clothes. I love it. Me likes, me likes, me likes, me likes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite old spice deoderant. Smells like im on an island. Putting it on is typical. It gets used up a bunch by my hairy armpits. I can see a bit of white produ t when I apply it and it lasts a good bit. Its sturdy.
I bought this for my husband to try, but when it got here, we found it smells pretty fruity wasnt very umm manly lol but i have to say it works wonders for me keeps me from smelling bad (also have bought foxcrest, that smells good for man, n works wonders, my husband tends to be... Sweaty ALOT and makes him smell bad but this stuff he can put on one day and not HAVE to put on for like 4 days)
my son uses this product. normally id be giving all 5 stars but not only dudmid it take more than a week to get this product but they sent the wrong one. i wasnt happy about it at all and im not ordering online anymore. lately all of my orders have been wrong or canceled at the last minute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm not normally a fan of this brand but decided to finally try it. I think thr smell is wonderful and clean. Little residue when used so it's not all over your clothes. Lasting power I'd say is normal. Overall I think there's too many ingredients in it. So if you have sensitive skin be aware.
I HATE the new formula! I will be switching to Degree or Every Man Jack if P&G doesn't return it to the old Pure Sport formula. This one smells soapy and doesn't even work--within a few hours I can detect my sweat smell.
I used this for many years. And I loved it, over the last few months (As of Aug 2026) it has changed, the smell is temporary and smells more like soap. It would last hours and would even compliment the natural musk. Now it completely looses its sent after a few hours.
I have two questions: Why? and When will you change it back? Along with new packaging, and I'm sure P&G's general desire to save money lowering quality without reducing profits, my beloved Wolfthorn has changed for the absolute worse. I'm a woman who hates women's powdery and flowery deodorant. I've been faithful to Wolfthorn nearly since the beginning, about twelve years. Its fruity scent solved my problem of not wanting to smell like a grandmother, an infant, or a gym bro. I purchased recently and thankfully, I still have a single stick from before the rebrand because UGH...side by side they are markedly different. The original scent was bright, fun, and reminded me of fruity cereal in the best way. Now it is a weird chemically driven artificial scent more reminiscent of a cleaning product. Sure, for marketing purposes, rebrand the packaging I guess, though I'm sure no one ever truly cared about the label on their deodorant. But customers DO care about unannounced reformulations and giving us the choice to decide if we want to spend our money and try it post change.
