Oldcastle 1963362 40 lbs Potting Soil

I ordered this potting soil for my balcony plants. It was just enough to take care of my few planters. It was delivered to my apartment building which made it so much easier than having to go pick up and carry.

It's a bit expensive for soil, as is all soils to me. Nice dark healty soil mixed with fine wood chips to slowly feed plants. Soft enough to work with and not damage roots.

It's a cheaper quality but it works just as well as the more expensive brand . I used it to plant potatoes and tomatoes in buckets. Results are still the same. I would recommend it.

The potting soil worked out great. Good value for the price.

Item came in a timely manner, I opened the bag and was and as I have not used this product before, very happy to see it was a good combination. Starting to see good results from the bulbs that I have planted in this mix.

i added some perlite and it was better

Bag is thin and rips. Soil is good but holds on to moisture for plants requiring “excellent drainage”. Good for mixing with other soil or summer planting.

it wasnt like what you would thing potting soil would be. it looks and feels like you just dug up some dirt from the yard with chunks rocks etc.

Both bags were returned to the Hastings, MI Walmart on Saturday 4/5/25. Hoping %26 waiting patiently for a refund.
