I have a couple no name 45mm cutters thus one tops all of them .

I love my classic 45 mm straight handle cutter. It was the first one I bought probably 20 years ago, and I've dabbled with others, but come back to this classic time after time. Has held the test of time. Had one small button break on it, but it was quickly replaced with one e-mail and now it's good as new! Not bad for 20+ years of work! #sweepstakes

I bought this at the store, not online. It is a great tool at a great price. However, I am new to quilting and found that this handle is not as comfortable as some other brands. I was at a quilting class and tried someone else's Fiskar's and a different Olfa Rotary that had a bigger grip handle and it was much more comfortable to hold, and imaging cutting accurately for long periods of time. Also, the little black safety switch on mine, used to open and close the blade, is stiff and not exactly easy. As your fingers age, you will wish it was easier to get the blade to open and close. My friend's Olfa would close when she let it go to put it down, and open when she gripped the handle to cut. That design is much better for older quilters or those of us who quilt a lot, or have tired or arthritic hands. So this Olfa is cheaper and it works, but for comfort I would get the larger handle.
