I love my classic 45 mm straight handle cutter. It was the first one I bought probably 20 years ago, and I've dabbled with others, but come back to this classic time after time. Has held the test of time. Had one small button break on it, but it was quickly replaced with one e-mail and now it's good as new! Not bad for 20+ years of work! #sweepstakes

I have had my 45mm Olfa Rotary Cutter for years. It has held up to hours and hours of fabric cutting. The solid construction of the handle is comfortable in my hand and I can easily use it in either hand with accuracy. Would I every buy another rotary cutter? Yes, if it is an Olfa.

I use the Olfa Rotary Cutter for cutting fabric for quilt making. It cuts my fabric into neat pieces quickly and accurately. The blades last a long time and the blades are easy to remove and replace. I wouldn't use any other cutter except for my Olfa Rotary Cutter. #sweepstakes

I bought this at the store, not online. It is a great tool at a great price. However, I am new to quilting and found that this handle is not as comfortable as some other brands. I was at a quilting class and tried someone else's Fiskar's and a different Olfa Rotary that had a bigger grip handle and it was much more comfortable to hold, and imaging cutting accurately for long periods of time. Also, the little black safety switch on mine, used to open and close the blade, is stiff and not exactly easy. As your fingers age, you will wish it was easier to get the blade to open and close. My friend's Olfa would close when she let it go to put it down, and open when she gripped the handle to cut. That design is much better for older quilters or those of us who quilt a lot, or have tired or arthritic hands. So this Olfa is cheaper and it works, but for comfort I would get the larger handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #Sweepstakes My Olfa rotary cutters are my "go to" cutters. They are dependable and give a great, clean cut. The only thing that can think of to be improved upon would be for the nut to stay tight. If I use it for any length of time, it loosens up and the safety doesn't stay in place.

This was my first cutter and really, I have no complaints. After years of quilting, it still looks new and works great. I did upgrade to the Olfa Splash which is cute and easier to change the blade but I use this one as back-up.
